We scored insane waves for the event this year and I pretty much spent every waking minute that the event wasn't on in the water. ...this video reminds me of what it was like at Jbay when I got to surf there in 75' @ 5'-8'...we called it "endless rights" and me being a "regular foot" I was in heaven...I had 2 boards I took there from Cocoa Beach I was riding, one was a Jim Turner - Jeff Crawford series, 6'4" wing swallowtail single fin with a Hyson "wide base" fin that was made out of Lexan and the other was a 6'6" G&S WaterSkate single fin...(anybody remember them ??? so many lip turns, roundhouse cut backs and several tubes that my buddy on shore filming me thought I'd ate it, only to have me pump turn my way back out of the barrel...brings back some good memories to my old ass.
