The story was pretty much obvious after so many clues dropped, but the fight cutscene was really amazing. No words needed, just sword swings. You could see them venting their desperation for not being able to fix things. And never seen Jing Yuang be so quiet.
uhhh a lot of people are saying that Bailu was the result of the hastily done revival process by Dan Feng and Yingxing ( Blade ), at first she turned into a beast before Jing Liu killed her and then the rebirth started while Dan Feng got locked up because he asked for help from the Abundance which is a big no no edit: In Bailu's lore, she says that Jing Yuan often visits her for check ups ... she finds it weird because he is very healthy yet would often find reasons to see her like a headache for example. She then says that maybe Jing Yuan is just bored "
For me the one who hurt so much here is Jing yuan. He has to witness his friends fighting each other again and again but can’t do anything. Imagine judging all of your friends only because of the duty😢. I’m so worry about his Mara.
The fact he always wear a fake smile hurts me so much, i can read how hes faking it, even the moment when Dan heng met Jing yuan for the "first time" Jing yuan said "we meet again old friend" Dan hengs reponse was "Im not HIM" and then Jing yuan only smile with a sad tone of saying "Ok.." like AUGHH😢😢
This quest was so good. The Lore drops, Luocha becoming even more sus and fascinating with every passing update, the cutscene, the voice acting, everything was very well done. The mentioning of The Marshall though... *WHENEVER WE GET FU HUA IN STAR RAIL I WILL GLADLY WHALE.*
Actually fun fact, baiheng was a nameless! She followed the path of the trailblaze and I personally believe that she got her luck from akavili and that is the blessing he gives all of his nameless. The blessing of luck. Obviously an adventurer is going to be in many dangerous situations
Depression impact leaking into HSR. The last three companion quests have been sad. They really missed an opportunity to add memorable OST songs to these moments. Makes me anticipate what they may have saved them for!
When Mina went into a Monologue about expectations and subversion or whatever, I was pleasantly surprised. She has the most agreeable gremlin voice I've ever heard!
I have a feeling Jingliu's powers and goals relate to the Nihility. Perhaps she's looking for its emanator and they are a prisoners on one of the ships. That's my theory at least.
This quest was a really nice quest. Hit me with the sad feels at the end. Glad she didn't die like I heard some people thought was gonna happen with the whole "Time to say goodbye" line in the trailer for this patch. Ik it will be a while before she shows up again in the story

I wonder why hoyo make EN Yanqing sounds so disrespectful to everybody. On 53:43, both CN and JP Yanqing sound like he felt bad and actually wanna compensate. EN Yanqing just sounds like a cocky brat and be like, yea yea just take my salary you baby. Which is also funny to listen lol.

Mostly because Topaz will definitely be a critical factor in play on the next planet, Penacony. Jingliu and Luocha... will not. The threat of an IPC takeover on Jarilo-VI directly sets up a crucial character and faction for the next planet. Jingliu's being set up for a different development further down the line, maybe the next stop after Penacony, who knows.
Not just because they look similar, but because there are many, many hints in lore, readables and even in story. It is extremely improbable for Bailu to not be reincarnated Baiheng at this point.
Even if it was just that the characters look similar it would have been a clue. Hoyoverse makes the same character with different appearances across all their games. People were freaking out about Luocha when he was introduced because he looked like Otto and that was enough before a bunch of story related stuff. Baiheng has way more evidence supporting that she was Bailu’s past life but people choose to look past it for pretty much no reason even though there was basically nothing for other characters.
JP and CN Paimon is not good. Just not outright atrocious like in EN as there is not only annoying voice but very "creative" differences in tone because translators decided that CN or JP Paimon wouldn't be accepted by EN audience. So those who play CN/JP with EN subtitles still have it worse than those who just understand CN or JP.
Not true at all,people who complain about paimon is not about the VA but how Paimon repeats the dialogues talks a lot and become like a spox for the MC.

When I watch let's plays with EN voiceover I cringe on them and not because of repeat - JP or CN don't cause that. So EN voiceover for Paimon is like +50% aggro or something. It doesn't increase 0 aggro, but you get 2 aggro instead of 3 and 150 instead of 100. So for many people what would've been forgivable or forgettable otherwise becomes something that they remember and that builds up with time. PS. "Oh, and her voice is annoying" is in fact common addition to complains. Not main part certainly, but it's there.
