12:40 Maya and Faceless are good for low level heading in the tower to keep your characters alive all the way to the top of the tower, so you can earn Max gold everyday to power up your characters. Both of them can help regenerate the teams health and let your tank and warrior do their basic attack, so Maya and Faceless can recover their energy to full for the next battle. Faceless and Maya is good for delaying the other teams atack: Maya use her roots to entangle 2 characters and pull them together like head butt while Faceless pull a character in mid-air and toss them in the back row causing damage to the other character that got hit from that move. After that is Martha till Celeste reach Violet Level.
Celeste is used as the sole hero in all kinds of teams and does well at it. The fact that she is a so-called "hybrid" healer who has lots of utility and DPS is a big part of why she is considered to be one of the best heroes in the entire game.
Good video as always. I love me some Celeste. I have her artifacts, gift of elements and glyphs maxed. She is a destroyer and a nurturer-er. Even when not used in my main guild war team, she rocks in the Grand Arena and Outland bosses.
Maya carried my team for a long time until I finally obtained Martha and got her leveled up. I used a combination Maya / Celest team for a while for more difficult fights and then switched to a Celest / Martha team that I'm slowly weening myself off.
You forgot to mention that Dorian and Martha soul stones can be also obtained from the sanctuary shop, unlocked when you get your first ultimate star pet.
Thanks for this video, there is quite a bit of material I find interesting. I never considered Celeste or Maya as hybrids, especially as Maya is listed as a Healer. Will have to look into this more carefully. Perhaps I could use two hybrid healers in place of one pure healer on a team. Thanks for the tips.
even though i joined HW for 9 months already, it seems that i am only learning now the values and abilities of each heroes...and that kinda make me say to myself that I should have done this and that and i should've invested more for this and that heroes instead of what i have now...beginners mistake that could eventually averted if i started to watch your videos right from the very start and i am learning alot now. Lots of experienced players now, this game has really evolved over the past 6 months I feel! Still love the videos as always, I watch them all and the live streams because this game has me hooked too :)
Don't forget you also get one soul stone per day for watching videos on mobile. I used that to get Dorian slowly, after buying the minimal amount of stones to get every hero in the shops.
Celeste is really good against a lot of teams, really like the hero. But I gotta say she is better when you are attacking since you can control her spells manually.
Another great video. I got Martha and Celeste at the same time during the Black Friday event. So sadly my Celeste went on the back burner and Martha became my primary healer, so I haven't gotten to use her much.

I was finally able to get Martha to absolute star with the recent Martha event. She is great. But she seems to get neutralized against a strong Luther.
the solution to staying alive when attacked by Luther, Orion, and even Cleaver is to pump her 1st artifact to boost her armor. my martha doesn't have any problems dealing with Luther and Cleaver.
@@Chubaquin This will not work, if Luther is accompanied with Andvari, because Andvari counters Faceless throwing skill. :) I love to see my Luther ruining Martha's totem :)
As always very helpful perspectives! I’m just under lvl 100, but have Celeste and Martha in my top 10, along with Nebula. Curious about reworked Markus, but I find it very difficult to use anyone outside those 3!
Playing mobile, Maya is golden. Having played with Dorian, Thea, and Markus as well, Maya's abilities as a healer have impressed me far more than any other healer. Add her capacity to deal damage and there's really no comparison.
Could you consider Jorgen and Judge as hyrbid healers because of their damage mitigation abilities? They seem to function very similar to healing abilities even if they aren't strictly healing
shielders, they both have some good shields, judge have only a self-heal, they can't be considered healers (phobos and mojo are more healers than them)

In the "Theater" room (the mobile version) do you recommend using the video tickets on gold or to stack up on emeralds...or one of the other choices? Right now I buy gold to either buy XP or to increase a players skill points; but from your other videos it seems emerald investment might be the best way to go, especially for future events.
It is because Phobos loves his king Corvus, and he enjoys companionship with Morrigan and Maya. As well, Phobos has good synergy with Celeste: Phobos and Celeste provide full protection against Yasmine, therefore, you need not to invest additional resources in Helios. (Helios needs some boost form magic penetration heroes like Orion or Faceless, and he starts to get real power over Yasmine only when he gets violet +1!)
He has a vampirism video out. It's been a while since I've seen it but it should give some good information. Just search for vampirism under his videos.
Martha takes to long to heal. Same with Thea. Although they are considered pure healers I don't use Thea because she isn't that great as a healer. I use Celeste and Nebula together and it works well. I use Martha and Maya together and it works good. Sadly most pure healers don't heal fast and takes some time. If your up against fast damage types they s*ck. When fighting the spider in outlands Martha does not heal fast enough nor does Jet. The spider loves to take out 1 hero almost instantly with 2 attacks. Martha's healing becomes faster but you can't do as much damage.
I have Thea for tower and she works well, but when i replaced her with Martha I got problems. Its takes time to her to get healing and I wonder if i should stay with Thea.
@@izagie7351 Celeste is Best for Tower as you can switch her to pure heal. Even at low lvls I have not had a problem with her. As of right now with team lvl and hero lvl at 94 I rarely lose any hero's even without using the skulls which I exchange for gold. My power lvl is 297k or so. With Celeste, Galahad, Nebula, Krista, and Lars.
im running twins celeste martha and astaroth and im having trouble in the halls of the communes fight at the 3rd stage of it i have all heroes 108 they are orange with celeste and astaroth orange +1 oliver +2 almost violet have tried with merlin which is blue as well but can't seem to kill the 2 frontliners at the last stage of the fight any help please?
Faceless is fine but useless with certain skilled hero's. If Faceless is paired with Elmir or someone who's skill attacks are not short enough he will not attack due to time constraint of his skill. If your in situation where Auto is not active like the tower, Guild wars and such then you can time his skill properly to work with others. But if on auto I would not pair him with hero's who's skills are long or delayed.

However, in manual mode, we can time when Faceless activates his doppelganger and therefore time it so that he will copy the healers' ability. hope this clarifies. Also the above mentioned heroes has skills that are specifically indicated to provide healing.
I play most battles on Manual. Guild Wars is always manual for me, Campaign is manual, Tower is manual, Outland is manual. Dungeon is manual. The only Auto play where the Doppelgänger is random is Arena & Grand Arena & if I run Astaroth, K’arkh, Faceless, Celeste & Martha (not the best combo), my Faceless almost always provides heals, both by copying my our an opponent’s healer, or by using the Power Throw to trigger K’arkh’s Survival Factor, so in the right line-up, Faceless is a Hybrid Healer in my eyes as he heals my heroes.
The community manager said in this week's live stream that the developers consider the current final boss a very good ending to the campaign. I believe that implies that no other campaign chapters are planned (on FB).
I use for healing maya + faceless and put between them nebula and you can imagine the amount of continuous healing per second lvl 80 without artefact of glyphs boost I get more than 5000/sec
martha's main asset is her speed boost for the whole team, celeste is better than martha in certain situations, but in most situations, martha outshines her.
At the end of a fight, I check the summary and it says Astaroth did some healing. Yet when I look at his skills, he doesnt have any skills that heal. Maybe his resurrect?
Technically, it cannot be considered healing since once his resurrection skill activates, it doesn't really heal but the correct term is that some percentage of the fallen heroes health is regained. Just to clarify.
@@alejandromiranda8065 If it is not healing, why does Celeste's Limbo skill block/convert that recovered health into damage? The Limbo skill quite often counters Asteroth's rezz, and it says it blocks healing. I don't know, it's just something I've noticed especially in the Tower.

Extra health after resurrection..." it says resurrects and not heal.. and as i said, percentage of the heroes health is regained (through the skill) or given back as a starting point (since it is technically useless to do a resurrection with only 1 HP right?) for the hero. Although the system interprets such action as healing (reason why Celeste's limbo skill indicates it as blocked healing) , the community managers explained it (in one of their livestreams) that technically and logically - it is not healing. Hope this clarifies. Another thing i would like to point out is that all of the healers mentioned in this video clearly mentions the operative word "heal" in the skills' description.

Keep Celeste in the light mode for Tower make it so much easier.

I have had a lot of success using Maya and Celeste together, especially since Maya has an AOE heal and Celeste has a single target heal.
Good to know about healers... I am still learning how each hero works and how they work with others.. still don't have that down.
Just to add.. Dorian and Martha (in FB, don't know about the mobile version) are also available in the Hero and Lesser Soul Stone chests.

Emeralds are the most effective imo, if you want gold you can use the emerald exchange

Hmmmm, how about Faceless as a edge-case Hybrid Healer, either thru his Doppelgänger skill or when paired with K’arkh?

this is only good when you can manually control who faceless will copy with his ullt skill. unfortunately, most fights in the game is done on auto

Once Asteroth rezzes, he does heal up that target a bit, so I wager you are correct.

Question: Someone told me raiding gives you more Exp points than not raiding in the campaign...I don’t see how that’s the case. Is this true?
