The amount of shoot first, die first encounters is rough
When both people are landing their shots similarly, I don't see why the one who fired first would lose unless the guns are terribly unmatched

Shotguns are fine with me. Don't use the MW2 ones. Also stay away from a muzzle, upgrade the long barrels for range and damage, Also use other attachments that will increase accuracy and hip fire. Claymores are terrible in this game. You will have to set them closer to your target. The range was really nerfed. I have started to use proximity mines more.

Thunder, use the scatter mines and throw in a proximity mine or claymore inside the scatter mines, when the scatter mine goes off it should set off the claymore/proxy mine instantly
If you run engineer for double scatter they will kill people on their own 😂

Try the stinger 9 smg or the holger 556 assault rifle. They are on point.

The first pump action shotty is good once you obviously get all the attachments. I rush with it and put the biscuits down like little goat turds for people to step on

These maps are the same size as the originals, with just added doors & a few alley ways but everything else is the same. I remember them from back from the original MW2. They are a campers dream if not for the SBMM & the sweats & bad streaks. They could Atleast given us the same streaks they had on the original MW2.
Don't give up on the Lockwood 680, Thunder. When specced for damage range, pellet spread, damage, and ADS speed, it is a demon. Can even sneak some hipfire accuracy in there without compromosing the other stats. It's admittedly no Lockwood 300 from MW2, but it's damn near close since the 300 sucks in MW3. I've gotten some cheeky 20 meter kills when the pellet spread hits just right, and with slug rounds, you can push absurd 30 meter kills to the head and maybe even farther with a higher zoom scope.
Was playing today and thinking, "How is Thunder going to do shotties and claybiscuits up in this?"
I went back to using the Halotherm optic on my rifles so my old eyes can find enemies. The SBMM is cranked up to level 10 right now. Geez!
The spectre thermal sight is really nice as well. It sucks that it reduces ads time though

I don’t know how you feel about hardcore but the pump action Lockwood is a one hit kill weapon at up to 35 meters and hits up to at least 45 with slugs in that mode. I’ll keep watching your vids either way though bro lol

Thunder I'll tell you what, I know if it hasn't been the craziest skill-based matchmaking because I went 30 and 12 and 1 a match and then the worst I did I think was like 10 and 15, the RPG of justice is definitely a must.
I feel shotguns are still worth using but only as a secondary.

The maps arren't too big. The guns have no range and the time to kill is to high. In the OG MW2 you could beam people across the map with the AR's.

Takes two shots to kill with a shot gun most of the time now cause of the 150 health. Claymores are defective cause people walk around them. Something has to be fixed.

I have the same problum with the claymores people run right by them and they don't go off it needs to be fixed, I'm looking into other games been playing cod for many years but this year is trash and can't stand the sbmm.

Anyone else having problems with the flak jacket? When I use the flak jacket I get killed by 1 rocket from an rpg when I shoot someone they dont die after being hit with 2 rockets? Makes no sense to me!

They definitely map some of the maps bigger. Derail is WAY bigger in this game than it was in the original Modern Warfare 2, same with Rundown. Just leave the shit alone ffs.
I haven't played this game, but derail was always a pretty big map.
