Hi, I did this as my project. However, when I on it, the red and green LED is on at the same time. The green LED didn't turn on when I put my hand on the sensor. I checked the circuit, but I'm still not sure what's the problem 😥
Thanks for checking out the video👍🏻Could you please try to adjust the sensitivity knob present on the sensor ? If it does not work then just check the sensor only first if it’s working . Connect 5v to sensor and see if the LED on sensor turns on if you bring hand in front of it . Then make connections step by step . Provide good 5v source adapter which has at least 1A current because dc pump takes more current while starting. I would suggest to go step by step and see if each component works fine .

Sure it’s totally fine. But make sure the liquid soap is good enough liquid because this 5v DC pump might not be able to pump thick liquid. In that case use good capability pump . I will leave it to you . All the best👍🏻

I don't know if you get my point, however, do you remove the insulator of the jumper to combine the another jumper? I'm confused 😵

You need to calibrate the IR sensor . If you bring hand near sensor then the sensor LED should be turned on . When there is no hand then Sensor LED should be off. There is knob on sensor and you need to adjust it.

Did you check the IR sensor if it’s led glow when you bring your hand near it ? If there no hand then the led should be off . Also which relay is this ? Is it low level triggered or high level triggered ?
is it the specific components list of this project is : -5v relay 1 way (blue) -ir sensor -red and green leds with 220 ohm resister -5v dc motor pump white horizontal -5v ac/dc adapter 2a -rocket switch 3 pin -jumper wiyer 10 or 20cm -plastic container -tube -foam board -glue gun

What do you mean by ground
Ground means the black wire which is generally -ve terminal of power supply . Red wire is considered as +ve terminal which is 5v in our case 👍🏻👏🏻
