Why would he just casually start talking about Lee, while his own life was so much grander than that.
Also, if Lee would have been a perfectionist, he wouldn't have been too lazy to actually learn various styles instead of pick some techniques out of context and without ever learning any understanding of the frameworks they were used in.
He didn't even get techniques right for his movies.

The quote he made is actually so true. To this day, one of the most tried and true dangerous kicks is the mui Thai kick. And that one kick conditioned like an iron rod can disable an unconditioned fighter easily, of course with only just one single kick to your opponent’s legs. Bruce Lee himself have some of the nastiest and/or fastest kicks out there. His jump kick can really send a bigger guy flying across the room. There are videos of it online. He’s literally insane and such a legend. If only he’s here to evolve martial arts more or experience today’s modern martial arts.

I liked his quote when a student asked him why he spoke about peace and love when he was teaching them to fight, he said "Because its better to be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in a war". He also said its foolish to use a weapon unless necessary, bc you need your whole arm or two arms to strike with it, but without it, youre using your fists, forearms, palms, the heel of your hands, and elbows.
