Just started watching a few days ago. Thank you for the recap, seeing how and where you started. Such an amazing adventure you two are on. I am 71, love to surf still and love the ocean. You bring back many memories of just one aspect of God's amazing and awesome creation on this planet. Your videos are a blessing to us all. Thank you.
Just noticed how very healthy you and Fran are looking. Not a toxin or chemi in sight and all natural food. This is probably gonna be the healthiest your ever gonna be in your life. I know at some stage this adventure will end, but I for one, will have an empty feeling when it does. Thx for the ride!!
I'm sorry but I have to say that Youngbloods is amazing, but I seriously think you two have eclipsed Youngbloods, all you Youngbloods viewers need to get into this and make it a proper living for Strick and Fran too, awesome. You both showcase the absolute beauty that this wonderful land of Australia has to offer. East coast to West coast, simply stunning.
I've watched both young bloods & B2B but B2B is my very very best. Frans amazing with her fishing/spearfishing and so humble. You both rock!! Love South Africa 🇿🇦
Anyone who runs across this in the months to come will be well happy when they realise how much quality content they have to watch ! Just wan't to echo what others are saying ..." One of the best serie's iv'e ever seen on the Tube " Keep going...keep us all happy !
I agree. Discovering amazing channels like this is kinda bittersweet cause I realise there must be heaps of channels on RUclips that I would really love...but I'll just never find them. Always nice when you do find nuggets of gold like this.
Wow! The underwater snorkeling shots are amazing. Thanks for just snorkeling and show your viewers what the reefs look like. The hard coral species is fantastic, not to mention the marine biodiversity. Clever putting the GoPro next to the anenome with SaddleBack Clownfish. The big female was quite bold, I thought she was going to run away with the camera
Yet another absolutely AWESOME instalment from you two, I can NOT recommend your vids more highly, simply the best EVER. If the world of fisher people and divers don't watch your entire series, completely their loss. Love you two, keep doing what you do and we will be there watching.!!!! Safe adventures.
You guys have amazing skills! Probably in the 1% of the world that might survive a SHTF scenario! Thanks for sharing such a great adventure! Stay safe.
Holy crap, this is just the bomb. Getting this experience with limited hassle using that small craft. What amazing doable trip that’s cost effective, easy navigation with shallow draft. Bucket list.
Wow...that final drone shot of this episode is just about the shot of this series I reckon...and that's saying something. Hard to imagine a better visual encapsulation of the wild adventure these guys are on than that final shot. Bravo!
Awesome episode! That final drone clip is truly incredible. One day you'll look back on this day with wonder. Some say that when we're young we create memories and that when we're older, we live inside those memories. Well that shrinking sand cay in the middle of nowhere may prove to be a little bit of heaven on earth in time to come. Meanwhile the rest of us slave away and try and get distracted kids to school on time without frieking out. All power to you two. Thank you for sharing your time with all of us.
you will remember this for the rest of your life. i commend both of you for your zest of life. its nice to know there are still people like you in the world.
A Huge Hello to Strick and Fran. Next time the two of are heading out wide on the Great Barrier Reef to the known specks of sand Islets; could you please take a dozen or so of coconuts and mangrove roots with shrubs, to plant onto the high spots, of these Islets so that they grow and provide food and shelter for future sailors like you. Cheers stay safe. Apollo Bay Victoria.
What a fantastic dream vacation/ expedition mate. Sharing this dream with Fran was an awesome addition that adds a lot to the success of your journey. You are deserving of such a fine young lady with all her experience and down to earth no worries attitude. She's just as lucky to tag along with you bad boy and I'm happy for both of you. I got hooked on the entire trip and it was as beautiful as it was educational. I live in S.E Florida and we have the Bahamas across the street practically and it's definitely beautiful but can't begin to compare with your waters. I've been living a similar life as yours over here and wouldn't change it for anything. My father exposed me to free diving at 6 and got my first gun at 12. Rest is history and I only wish I had a gopro back in the sixties when I started my awesome relationship with the Ocean. My father's line of work took us to live in quite a few different countries and continents but have yet to visit your little island. Thanks so much for the great videos, all the intel and your great experiences and adventures. The close call you had with one of your best friends really hit me hard as I was aslo the lucky one like he was to survive. I wouldn't be writing this if I had been my stubborn self and diving alone. Please tell Fran I enjoyed her recipes and watching her give you a run for your money in the water and on land. Hope you guy's always remain close. Over and out mate and keep living the dream lad. Back 2 Basics Rocks!
One of the posters below said you guys feel like friends. You definitely are friends! For life thank you for the wonderful coverage of this trip. You're doing the right thing living the right way! I hope you really enjoy yourselves and do it again!! Next time maybe a bigger boat?
How very cool. What a way to catch some great adventures. The diminishing island looked a pucker moment there for a while, but that's what make them the best. I'll bet you talk about that wee boat for the rest of your lives as well. Be it good or bad, she let you have what looks like a great adventure and got you home. Truley, what an awesome way to spend a month or two. Would have traveled with solar panels on a hard top to power a small freezer for frozen veggies, butter and the like. To tell the truth, I'm quiet envious, I would have loved to do this and had the means, but no support from the other half. One of the most unadventurous persons l ever knew. Cool holiday.
Wow, Jack how long can you hold your breath, you guys must have been doing this your whole lives, love your wetsuits, you guys are living the life, just amazing !!!
Sitting in Sweden binge watching these getting a bit homesick. Glad to know I was not the only one on Google Maps trying to work out what islands they stopped off on (Forbes Island was one)..... and which rivers/creeks they were at when they were on the mainland. Pretty sure the river they got "fresh" water from at 03:08 was the Olive River (Yarraki - check out A River Some Where).
The best fourteen minutes of the day, when your notification sounded. Another great adventure, thought you were going to get caught out by the tide. More fish on the menu, just finished mine came in a packet With bloody instructions, and there you are eating that beauty While im gagging on some fingers with no name. Cant wait for the outer reef, hope the weather changes. Well got to go dishes are waiting. Lots of love from rainy Wales. O, big shout to Frans cooking.o
Wow good stuff. Hey my grandparents made world headlines doing the same thing. Back in the day. Lived on one of those islands for a year. This is where I get my adventurous spirit from. Good on ya guys.
Funny, watching your videos makes me feel that I have found 2 new friends. I really enjoy sharing your adventures online. You are both very likeable people.
Love watching these vids! Definitely the most anticipated RUclips vids from my subscriptions. The stars out there must be amazing! Keep up the awesome work!
You guys have reminded me of Albi Mangles and Judy Green. The only thing missing was a bigger boat and dog. An absolute outstanding series I will continue to watch.
Just like to say thanks for all of your videos guy's, absolutely fantastic content and you make a lot of us very jealous. This was a great recap . Keep going we love it.
This is a most epic trip to such amazingly beautiful part of the world. You really know which coral fish to harvest. They are delicious! Several questions: With all the coral fish you are eating how do you avoid ciguatera poisoning? Or getting stung by boxed jellyfish? Love to watch an episode where you can share about how to survive along this coast and what precautions and planning one needs to do. Absolutely love your adventure. Keep them coming
Bless your cotton socks s ,I’ve watched your adventures since the beginning and are so grateful of your sharing it ,you really epitomise the great Australian explorers as a couple ,transforming possibility into reality I really love you do and share ,thank you very much oxo
Sensational 🤩 Absolutely sensational 🤩🤩 I don’t know how you managed to get a minutes sleep on such a skinny piece of sand though 😳😳😁 Ohhhh, that intro was next level awesomeness 🤩🤩🤩🤙
Wrasses are some of the best tasting fish and the “Rat Grouper” at 6:48 is also absolutely delicious, probably better than the coral trout. Just loving your series!
Editing was phenom in this one in particular. Perhaps the recap, I felt reoriented to the why and how. VERY fun! And hope Frans wisdom tooth is better!
Wow, loosing your beach and not knowing where the tide will reach its peak. What a rush. Kinda like being followed by a salt water crocodiles.🐊 Gives new meaning to the term lunch rush.
Fox Waves! Salty Dingo be bobbin and weavin, weavin n bobbin! Ah fish for lunch..just for something different for a change :-p What a paradise though, amazing guys!! Take care out there!
So where exactly can I follow Fran for more recipes?
+1 in the waiting list..
Stay tuned mon
Born and raised here in Los Angeles, I really envy the life you have but I’m not going to stalk his lady.
Brotherly ribbing at its best. lol
I looked too 🤣🤣🤣
Oddly enough you both feel like friends sharing the adventure of a lifetime with me. I feel like I’m part of the trip, wish I was any way.

Seeing both of you wandering around experiencing the epic scenes of ocean and shores, it seems I am living my ultimate dream too. Bless you both...
I spent a few years at sea and there is no way that I would do what you are doing, big respect for your spirit of adventure
Youngbloods have nothing on these guys.
Agree...these guys way ahead of Youngbloods. Love them too but sometimes the non stop over the top carry on gets hard to watch. None of that here
This blows Youngbloods away, YB can get a we bit annoying.
I've watched both young bloods & B2B but B2B is my very very best. Frans amazing with her fishing/spearfishing and so humble. You both rock!! Love South Africa 🇿🇦
Yb who? Idk him
FRAN IS JUST STUNNING!! WOW, just WOW!!

The snorkel scene and music was phenomenal. Just melted my stress. The recap with map was great as I've been curious about your course.
That barramundi rock cod at
6:44 is just stunning.
Great series, only 3 mins into this ep and this is the best one yet. Keep it up!
Would love to see an episode on the set up you have, how you charge cameras, edit and upload, what you have on the salty dingo ect. Loving this series
etc. not ect... bugbear of mine, in the mobile era of non-English

Fran is the HOT spot. Great journey and thanks to both of you.
Absolute epic spot!!! at sea level, in the middle of the ocean, doesn't get much better than that. Stay safe and keep on keeping on!!
The best adventure/fishing channel on RUclips. Going to be massive
Another awesome video post. I dont think you could find a better couple for this adventure. You define it.
Fran you are so awesome, keep it up.
That's about as close as you want to get to the high tide with nowhere to go. Another amazing adventure
Spent ten years up the Aria River, in West New Britain, PNG. Your reef videos bring back wonderful memories. Stay well Mates.
Loved the fade out shot at the end of the vid showing the sand box in the middle of nowhere that you two were camping on. Epic !
You guys have reminded me of Albi Mangles and Judy Green. The only thing missing was a bigger boat and dog. An absolute outstanding series I will continue to watch.
Big difference is this one is real - as for Albi......
@@rustystrickland933 so true.

What an epic adventure, well done guys! That would have been a nightmare if the tide came in anymore!
Great adventure channel, you two have had a life time of nature travel in 90 days.
Simply wonderful water and peaceful life.

New to the channel. Awesome intro! Great way to take someone from oblivious to connected to your story in under 5 mins. That’s storytelling.
Wow, just a little spec of sand, beautiful place.
Awesome definitely my favourite show at the moment guys
What an absolutely awesome adventure. Thanks so much for sharing!!!
It's just so crazy to see where you camp at from the video to that vast ocean. Amazing!

Wrasses are some of the best tasting fish and the “Rat Grouper” at 6:48 is also absolutely delicious, probably better than the coral trout. Just loving your series!
Hands down the best channel to watch right now, following you on your adventure like its mine brother. What a beautiful route you are following
The ONLY way you could give them a thumbs down 👎is pure envy and self issues you need to look hard at.
Epic guys!
Been following the journey the whole way but this one really STRUCK A CHORD. KUDOS to you two for that trip. I mean Wow just wow
Coral is beautiful there. National Geographic quality scenes. It’s getting hard to find that level of beauty these days.
You are both amazing people and thank you for sharing your adventures
