Petr Bazala (1976) is a Czech composer, concert pianist, and educator. He studied accordion, cello, and piano at the Jan Deyl Conservatory in Prague. Currently, he teaches accordion and piano at the Alfréd Radok School of Arts in Valašské Meziříčí. He also lectures on topics related to improvisation and composition. Bazala is the author of several piano collections and compositions, including ‘May Romance’ for piano and orchestra, ‘Concerto for Piano and Vacuum Cleaner,’ ‘Beskydy Dance,’ and the album ‘Quarantine,’ which reflects the time associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. His works are part of the modern repertoire for both beginner and advanced pianists.
