@@resileaf9501 Neither the Danes nor the Canadians consider it a war. That would be too hostile of a word for both nations. It's just "an unresolved political dispute over the border line". But given that the island has no practical or strategic value it is, of cause, best used for exchanging alcohol between the two nations arctic patrols who must each set foot on the island, at least once annually, to uphold the claim. It is, all in all, just a fine waste of taxpayer money to uphold a training regime of the arctic special forces... and a perfect excuse to drink a bit of warming alcohol in the bitter coldness of a frozen rock right between Greenland and Canada.

Great video Simon. Someday I'd love to see a video about the 1858 Utah War when James Buchanan sent an invasion force into the Utah Territory to remove Brigham Young, President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and Governor of the Utah Territory.
The war had no open battles between US forces and the Mormons, but the tensions around the invasion led to several Native American uprisings and the infamous Mountain Meadows Massacre in which a Mormon militia killed over 120 peaceful migrants who were unlucky enough to be passing through on their way to California.
Nobody talks about the Utah War because it is understandably overshadowed by Bleeding Kansas and the US Civil War. However, it's still an important part of Utah's and the United States' history.

@@SEAZNDragon Hot take. The main thing is Simon’s nationality, and how that would color his viewpoint. You don’t ask an American to discuss the finer points of British history, or Pakistani history; so having a lone Brit do a wildly long breakdown of the US Civil War, all by himself is not only disingenuous to him, but also those of us in the States.
Second, a wildly large video on the US Civil War *SHOULD* hit everything as best as possible, whether those views are accurate, inaccurate, somewhere in the middle, or completely unfounded. It doesn’t pay to completely ignore one viewpoint while exalting another.
