8:25 I love how they didn’t forget to give bumpy one horn that’s smaller than the other
i cannot believe they did allosaurus before spinosaurus, so many spinosaurus fans out there a set witht hat dinosaur would sell so well
When they finally do it well discover they had wings or smth lol
@@stefansauvageonwhat-a-twis1369 they probaly would base it on the jp3 spino, not the accurate one.
Just wait for JP3's 25th anniversary lol, LEGO knows what their fans want
looks like they’re doing it on purpose
They did Spinosaurus way back in the Lego Studios JPIII sets. It’s been 23 years since they released a Spinosaurus!
3:58 You are correct Jang! That is a stegosaurus! It's a shame that it looks like there's no articulation on the tail, but I guess it could be hard to pull off with the rubber plates going through the figure.
Really glad that they’re keeping this theme going even without movies currently being released
I'm not sure about that 90 degree angle on the Allo's head and neck piece, that's a bit unfortunate. And I think the Stego's tail being immobile is a huge loss. I'll still need to pick it up because TLW is my favorite film.
I was really hoping for Lost World sets, but my wallet can breath a sigh of relief.
1. They haven't done an allosaurus before - I should know, I did a paper on one in elementary school 😉
2. I'm personally surprised that they haven't done longer stegoes before - fossilized ones have been found that were as long as a bus!
3. I'm an American, so I do know, but - IT'S JUST A NUMBER 😂
🕯 Spinosaurus Please Someday 🕯
Stegosaurus color works for me😅✌🏼
I’m really excited for this wave of sets because the stegosaurus is my favorite dinosaur! I’ve been hoping we would get a modern style physical version of this dinosaur in a Lego set ever since I played through the Lego Jurassic World video game back in 2015 when that video game came out.
I have been waiting so long for this
The set with the Allosaurus definitely
Stegosaurus might be big, but that's Lego scale now. That van is almost 2 stories tall in Lego.
The Stegos in TLW are basically as tall as Rexes standing in their walking positions. This size suits the JP versions of these animals extremely well
I was hoping they were going to be lost world themed but i completely forgot that the show was coming out soon. Honestly the stego looks pretty good.
I really like the van in the stegosaurus set.
Yes that is a Stegosaurus in that second set and I'm just happy we finally get one after 24 years.
Allosaurus looks great.
This set is good.
Jang calm down. It's just a number
Did I seem upset or even slightly animated? LOL sheesh folks are really sensitive any time I mention this basic thing. Disagree with my view but don't act like I'm screaming and throwing a fit the way people do about really serious world-changing topics like minifig helmet holes.
It's not just a number though. If you're going to talk about it the least you should do is be accurate.
If they had bothered to paint/print the claws of the Allosaurus it would look perfect kinda sad that they don't really care about that it still looks great tho also I hope they make a Spinosaurus soon
It does look like the head of the Stegosaurus does move. If you look closely, you can kinda see a notch near the back of the top of the head
The first stegosaurus figure since Aventurers Dino Island back in the early 2000s and the first ever allosaurus figure. I like that the stegosaurus has leg articulation (unlike the brachiosaurus), but the allosaurus is too big, it looks like it is the same size as the Lego T. Rex or indominus but should be closer to the Lego indoraptor or baryonyx.
That teal color on the baby Dinosaur would have been perfect for the Aston Martin F1 car!
I really, really hope we get a recolor of the adult Ankylosaurus for a grown up Bumpy some day soon. Ankylosaurus is my favorite dinosaur and I absolutely loved Bumpy in the show. Hopefully she'll show up in Chaos Theory too.
Easy skip for me on all three. The largest set reminds me a lot of the TRex transport from I think it was Fallen Kingdom as that had a similar build only slightly larger more involved. The Allosaurus looks pretty great though. Think I'll wait for the Stegosaurus in the inevitable Lost World sets whenever that may be.
I hope we also will see a baby Stegosaurus mold.
I’m glad we’re getting a Stegosaurus but it’s disappointing it’s not a lost world set
The van can hold 2 people side by side and in the back is a little table and a bed AND this set has a middle size raptor and a squirrle too !
like the use of car tops on the side of the truck
The allosaurus is mostly fine, but the lower jaw seems disproportionately thin/small, which makes the whole thing look awkward
The allosaurus set is very similar to the t-rex transport set, so im definitely going to have to get it along with the stego set 😂.
The trailer using the large yellow grate pieces gives off a Lego “Dino” vibe to me, which makes me think it’s an intentional reference.
YES! Stegosaurus at long last, will get 2, the Allosaurus is also a nice addition, real sad we don’t get a Bumpy in minifig scale but I don’t mind that much, the Stegosaurus would have been more than enough for me.
There already was a minifigure scale Bumpy in set 76939
@@arubeto7052 I meant the adult version, but you are right though
Interested to see inside those vehicles. Nice brick built baby.
Love these sets, wish they made more jurassic world/park sets
Those 3 vehicles are going in my lego town
Oh wow! They really upped their graphic design on the dino's once again!
I'm a sucker for city scale trucks and vehicles so I might buy this just for the cool truck.
Finally, dinosaurs who are actually from the Jurassic period in the Jurassic park line.
Stegosaurus!!
A remote control conversion would be cool
I think “polypropylene” might’ve been the plastic you were reaching for? Same plastic as a lot of Bionicle parts. I understand why they’d want the plates and spikes to be softer, both to not stab kids and to not break as easily, but there’s something funny about a stegosaurus where the spikes and plates are _softer_ than its skin. 😄
I was going to say that the shape of the stegosaurus plates seemed off, that they should be more symmetrical, with the point roughly in the middle rather than near the back of each plate. But a little reading shows that (1) there are widely differing interpretations for the shape of the plates, (2) they may have varied dramatically between species, between sexes, or even between individuals, and (3) the iconic shape stuck in my mind’s eye may be just plain wrong and an artifact of me having learned most of my dino lore several decades ago.
Heck yeah
Loving these sets😍🤩
Not having these be The Lost World is a big L.
More dinosaurs!!!!!!
in the eu one it shows this set is for june
Great video 😊
the stegosaurus looks like a fish
New dinos are always awesome (except for the price).
It's not a stegosaurus. It's a sLEGOsaurus! :~P
Seriously though, I really don't care for the neck joint of the allosaurus. It's too gappy. The stegosaurus's neck looks OK but I don't know if the joint's articulation is compromised to improve its appearance.
You can't mount the stegosaurus :(
That Stegosaurus mold looks great but the print leaves much to be desired.
Sand green enjoyers unite!
I’m usually generally positive about everything lego but that stegosaurus isn’t really that cool sadly
The claws is not painted on the Allosaurus limbs, that is lazy. Especially on a more expensive set like this.
A little late to be getting an allosaurus
I really enjoy building animals and dinosaurs. I’m not interested in collecting animal figures. Give me more sets like the last one shown in this video.
This is a good wave but I'm not going to be watching the show.
I've wanted a new stegosaurus for years. And it is here. I'm getting that set for sure. Also, allo and stego were contemporaries, both Jurassic period, both from what is now the western US: allo hunted stego, stego thagomized allo. So, good choices over all.
Yep, that's a Stegosaurus, or if you want to play it safe you can always just say "stegosaur"!
Yes! This is exactly what I want from the Jurassic World theme! New Dinosaurs! Probably gonna pick both of these up since I’ve been waiting for Lego to make a Stegosaurus for forever now & I’ll always take a new Carnivore! Now we just need a Spinosaurus.🤞
Hmmm, as an american adult who very much knows what 420 is, i honestly dont think I'd even give it a second thought if i saw the number on a lego set, I'd probably just assume it's coincidence.
In fact I'd likely notice if the number was 419 or 421 or something, because then it'd be obvious that they're avoiding the number on purpose.
Either way i do totally understand why you're of that opinion though!
That’s silly about the 420. There are probably sets with 69 pieces as well, and 666 and 13. Its just a number, I don’t think children will be traumatized by seeing the number 420 on a box
Who said kids would be traumatized? Why such a dramatic overreaction & mischaracterization of what I said?
While I agree with Jang that this is a bit overdramatic, it is fair to say that most kids probably will not get that reference, and that LEGO shouldn’t go out of their way to avoid specific numbers out of fear that kids will recontextualize them. Given both that this is kind of becoming a pattern now and just how easy it is to add or remove one(!) piece, I am starting to come to Jang’s view that it is likely intentional, which is obviously not appropriate.
@@JANGBRiCKS and thanks for the video, just don't agree with you on certain numbers being off limits.
Just when I thought I was done with Jurassic World/Park sets... man... I'll wait for some clearances to get these 🥹
I'm very happy for the Stegosaurus, but the shape of its fins seem to be off.
Rather sad that the Stego lacks even a single top mounted stud ...
I also love the attention to detail on the Allo, the other side has some scratch marks with a blind eye. Exact one from the upcomming series and possible battle at big rock?
i wouldve loved lost world or jp3 sets but ik these are targeted to children who probably havent watched those films so whatever 😭
If I had a nickel for every time Darius & Sammy got paired up in a 2024 LEGO set, I'd have two nickels...which isn't a lot, but it sure is weird that it's happened twice.
Yes, while not interested in that Bumpy model I am all for the Allo and Stego sets in the same day Frontier revealed a new trailer for PDLC for Jurassic World Evolution 2.
Not gonna lie the stego looks a tad lame, maybe I expected too much after seeing them in the jurassic world game. Still hope we get some with red fins based on the lost world
Wow, I was thinking that was a Carnotaurus, but it's actually an Allosaurus. How did I forget that Allosaurus had horns as well, and it's even classified as a Carnosaur? Looks like the horns are more prominent on the Carnotaurus, but still.
I don't really like how the face was done on the Stegosaurus. Did they make it more cartoony because the set is based on a cartoon?
Tik toks pointing out the funny numbers in Lego sets get serious views, it's free advertising for them and they can shrug and say it's just a number if the media picks up on it.
I don't understand why in the world the tail isn't articulated on the stego
This feels like an awkward duplication of the T Rex Transporter 75933 and I am not sure why they didn't more significantly jazz it up a little.
The Jurassic World sets often have great vehicle designs that I wish we got more of in LEGO city, but I don’t want to waste money because of the dinosaur that I just don’t have the space for.
I'll probably get that Bumpy set. I just can't justify the other sets for their prices. These molded dinosaurs make sets too expensive for me.
I like both dinosaurs, but I got one nitpick for each one
Stegosaurus- I wish it could swing its tail like the ankylosaurus
Allosaurus- that jaw should have been a new model cause it looks goofy with the large upper jaw
Imo the parts count is a coincidence, i doubt the set designer intended it, a quick Google shows multiple sets with 420 pieces. The unusual vehicle is nice and not generic, dino is alright, could have used a few studs on the back ,looks decently sized though
I don't care about dinosaurs, but Jurassic world vehicles are always awesome, I wish Lego city vehicles were as good
2:09 looks good but it would have been perfect if they used the old Indominus Rex arms to get that look of the hands facing each other. Still good amazing regardless
Really wish Lego had what would essentially be a fatter indoraptor body for allosaurus and carnotaurus, they look fine on their own but it’s somewhat goofy that they’re the same size as the trex or giganotosaurus
When do these sets drop? I would love to build the stegosaurus with the trailer and van! That one looks the best to me. Anyone who knows when these are coming please share in the comments.
why did they do the allosaurus underjaw so dirty 😭😭 they shouldve had a different one
“Chaos Theory” is way too hard a title for an animated Jurassic World spinoff
Nice Dinos and so on but THAT VAN!!! ❤❤❤
Two new dinosaurs this summer, awesome!
Sets look great but the Allosaurus Set ist heavily overpriced. I remember the Baryonix Treasure Hunt set which contained a Jeep and a trailer and a small island. That was 60 Euro.
Thank you for always regarding scientists such as paleontologists and geologists and how their takes would be on some of these sets. Helps to make us recognized and to see our perspective!
Also, those spines on the back are definitely off. But they might have designed them that way so that the diamonds don’t break off so easily.
The number of dinosaurs that have been made in lego form since the beginning is immense! And now we get a stegosaurus and allosaurus!
That Allosaurus is way too big. It needs to be halfway between the T-Rex and Raptor molds.
I need those!!!!!
Why the heck does the allosaurus have a Baryonyx bottom jaw, it looks so off :/
allosaurus is related to baryonyx closely, but they also do have a small bottom jaw
