A few observations. Is this SIM or live account trading. Only way to be sure is to show display name. Then later someone else asked who your broker is, you answered Ninja Trader 8! Ninja Trader 8 is your platform. But all that could be put to rest is you show folks you're taking real trades. Ninja Trader 8 has a feature where you can "playback" trading as it happened in real time and practice with entering and exiting trades. How do we know that's not what you're doing?

When you buy one contract is the cost of the contract 3000 or however much it’s worth
You will need to have the correct amount of margin in your account, so for the MES you will need to keep a minimum of $50 per one contract (this amount is subject to change and is different for each contract, reach out to your broker for more details)
Do you sell at your target or just move the stop to Target?
I sell at my target, the stop loss is normally moved to protect my entry incase there is a reversal. Thanks for watching!
@@GorillaFutures Why not move your stop to the Target. That way if it continues to run you are still in, if not you stop at your target anyway.
@@rustygolfer3475 cause that's my target and there is a good probability that it will be hit based on all my back testing and research. Why would I get greedy and risk it all on a hunch? I get in get out and wait for the next setup.
@@GorillaFutures Just learning so I am trying to understand. If your Target was 400 for ex. and you sell at 400 you are out. If you set a stop at 400 you are out if it comes back to 400 if it continues you are still in and you can continue trailing with the stop. Is this not correct? How would you be risking it all, you would stop where you sold anyway. Not being a smart ass just dont understand why sell vs moving stop up. I am obviously missing something.
@@rustygolfer3475 your not wrong and I know lots of people do a similar strategy that you have mentioned but just because I don't do it doesn't make it wrong. I simply know the probability of my trades and thats what I play, also in theory your idea would work great but on many days we don't trend like that. I could see that strategy for an investing or swing trading idea but for an intra day system I'm not a fan of it. Many days we don't trend in one direction, we go back and forth all day long. If thats the case then your system is going to have lots of break evens so instead I shoot for a target based on s/r and probabilites of certain signals working out. The risk is just to big, I'm not going to let a good winning trade turn into a small winner because I wanted to give it more room, also you need a reason to move those stops and take profit levels. What your reason? Price moved down? I do not mean to be rude because this is something lots of newer traders ask about but it's a hindsight thing, you see a chart and say wow I could of made all this but in reality the signals not there for that entire trade. Just my opinion doesn't make it right or wrong. Just more then one way to skin a cat and I prefer my way.

Can I, an Italian citizen trade S&p micro and e mini futures contracts and nasdaq contracts from europe?
Silly question. But to make the 450. How much was the account you were trading with.

There is no correct answer, to trade the ES on NinjaTrader you will need to maintain a balance of $500 per 1 contract now obviously you are going to want more, but how much more is up to you. Do you know your riskor how much you are risking per trade? If not I'd figure that out in SIM first. The problem is you moved the trailing stop to B.E. back to the original ~5pts on a "feeling". That's not tradable! It ended up working for you this time. But good account trading would be sticking to your rules. So you either change the inputs to move the stop after a bigger move or whatever, and that changes your bottomline. But putting this trade as an example after just a "feeling" (albeit your personal experience) without more quantifiable terms is misleading.
A few observations. Is this SIM or live account trading. Only way to be sure is to show display name. You don't even have to reveal the whole thing, just the first part where it says SIM or "Your Name". Secondly, the answers to the questions below confuse me. How do we know that's not what you're doing?
as of July 2014, Ninja trader is a brokerage I am more then happy to send you the "proof " you need.
