Extremely clear and concise. No fluff, nothing but gold here. Thanks so much! I sometimes have trouble with people hip dropping once I get into the octopus position. It looks like here you have a great bite with you right leg behind their Hamstring which seems like it would prevent that!
Thanks again!
Either its really cold in there or they got hot breath😂😂😂 good instructional
A bit of both 😂🥶🥵
i haven't seen these 2 sweeps from octopus. wow!

@@KDGrapplingwhy?
@gedbookings2328 it was winter lmao
i think i can see his breath - must be cold on those mats!
🎉
Brilliant video! Love a good a/b system - defo going to be practicing this. My initial thoughts are 'this could go well with my Kimura trap from Knee shield' - what do you reckon, they should go well together, right?. Liked and Subscribed
Thanks James, Appreciate the feedback and support. This would chain really well with the Kimura Trap from Knee shield. Both compliment each other.
@@KDGrappling Octopus has been on my radar, but not a priority, for a while. I will 100% be deep diving on it now (on your channel) after seeing how well you teach it - you have an excellent teaching style - fair play. I was going to ask, but just read the description and got my answer, I will defo be calling into you if I get a chance.
Thanks very much @@JamesWTheGrappler That’s great to hear. Call in anytime for a session ☘️🤼

Kinda harder posting higher on one arm when you're smaller and your opponent/partner is taller.
If you can’t climb up to use the Octopus Guard then think about going under them using sweeps/leg attacks or go around them by using arm drags etc
Certain techniques are going to work better on different body types & styles. Hope this helps
Dude how fucking cold is that room?
It was very cold 😂😂
