Extremely clear and concise. No fluff, nothing but gold here. Thanks so much! I sometimes have trouble with people hip dropping once I get into the octopus position. It looks like here you have a great bite with you right leg behind their Hamstring which seems like it would prevent that! Thanks again!
Brilliant video! Love a good a/b system - defo going to be practicing this. My initial thoughts are 'this could go well with my Kimura trap from Knee shield' - what do you reckon, they should go well together, right?. Liked and Subscribed
@@KDGrappling Octopus has been on my radar, but not a priority, for a while. I will 100% be deep diving on it now (on your channel) after seeing how well you teach it - you have an excellent teaching style - fair play. I was going to ask, but just read the description and got my answer, I will defo be calling into you if I get a chance.
If you can’t climb up to use the Octopus Guard then think about going under them using sweeps/leg attacks or go around them by using arm drags etc Certain techniques are going to work better on different body types & styles. Hope this helps

Kinda harder posting higher on one arm when you're smaller and your opponent/partner is taller.
