I bought that exact guitar in December of 2023. It's my first bass and primary learning instrument. I have totally enjoyed learning on it and would recommend it to anyone. It's been a solid instrument for me and I completely enjoy the tone. Hope you enjoy yours!
I also had nothing but Jazz basses up until about 5 years ago . I have a squier late 50s P bass , a MIM Fender p bass and a Sire P5 bass and a P bass does somethings no other bass can do.😊
Nice collection. how do you like your sire compared to the fenders? I’m looking forward to exploring all the tones with mine. Thanks for the comment! 😀
@@mropus1014 The Sire basses one is. P5 roasted maple neck P bass and a V7 jazz bass with ebony fingerboard . everything about the Sire basses are better then my MIM fenders except the resale value.
Love that finish, would be killer with a standard issue rosewood neck with dot inlays. I've become very fond of muted colors with simple features in my older age 😅
fender ?why pay 3x when you can just swap better pickups for a pretty much same quality instument? ... its the Squire from the same "70s inspired" series same colors, same black block inlays as that bass@@mropus1014

That’s awesome. Glad you’ve enjoyed it! I look forward to playing mine a lot. Thanks for watching.
Bring it to a tech and have him do a full setup. Will massively improve the playing experience even when you think it's okay now.
Yeah, definitely. I’ll be setting this one up and getting it to my playing preferences. Thanks for watching!
I take all my new guitars to a tech. They make sure it’s all proper and good to go. Not always cheap though but worth it.
I just played a seafoam green one in a GC last weekend. Really pretty unbelievable for the money. Wish it was around when I started...
I bet the Seafoam looked awesome!
My 60s p bass squier is the boss. With rounds it rocks.
That’s awesome. Is yours a Fender or Squier? I’m looking forward to doing sound clips as I’m new to the P bass. Thanks for watching.

Thanks Daggerhead69. I’ve heard Cory makes really good basses but I haven’t played one yet. Thanks for watching.

Yes, I agree. There’s something to be said for the classic finishes on these kinds of instruments. Thanks for watching.
would match perfectly with the walnut jazzmaster i just got
Nice! A walnut jazzmaster! Is that a Squier, Fender or other brand?
