Marvelous story! I loved the concept, which was hilarious! I was expecting "unobtainium" to turn out to be something like goat shit, but coal works just as well. Leave it to a human to figure out how both races can get rich and take over the universe together! And I loved the alien's reaction in the end----to please stop burning this enormously valuable substance. It would be like us discovering that some alien race was burning gold in furnaces to heat their homes.
