Thats the thing and its so obvious, Even that can you often see in the realistic movies and series where drugs Are put in a bad way😂🤦♂️ drugs is just a part of it and ofc can be dangerous is you abuse it af but its rarely the cause of the problem, and if it is then its something wrong with the persons brain, not the drug itself. I’m not only agreeing its a fact. The other guy in the comment believe in the propaganda about most drugs but its understandable because most people do but to talk against scientists and Expert is very ignorant.
@@Kudown dude on the contrary - I was actually brainwashed to think marijuana wasn’t bad at all - I was the good kid all throughout school and I didn’t start smoking till later in my life (around age 26) partly because of how prevalent it has become in American society but mostly because I didn’t have God in my heart. I smoked just about everyday for 5 years, did maybe 5 or so “heroic” mushroom trips, and even dabbled a bit with cocaine - i was doing all this while running a 3.5 million dollar a year construction business and, like you, I even thought the drugs were actually helping me - I started drastically cutting down since the start of 2024 and I’ve been completely sober except for cigars for the past 2 months - and let me tell you life is soooo much better without the brain fog that bullshit as plant brings you. I’m not some weenie telling you this - I’ve been in that hole and for the longest test time I didn’t even realize I wanted out.
And to the original commenter - quitting the drugs will lead to better relationship and support “systems” - maybe even better jobs. So it will 100% lead to life improvements.

Just listen to the experts. Like Dr. Carl Hart doesn’t say drugs Are only good thats ignorant. It depends on how you use them, what you take, how much, your knowlege on how to do it more safe, your mental health etc etc. Most people who do drugs ain’t got a problem with the use, its just stating a fact so people can start to help those who got probs, like a adiction to find the real reasons to why instead of just the drugs. Right there with you brother. Two herniated discs and awful nerve pain, can’t access opioids unless I have surgery. Have you looked into Kratom or tianeptene? Kratom helps with the pain better well, but I use it mainly because of the psychological effects the pain relief is just an added bonus.

Have even written a book on the topic that was recently accepted by a major publishing agency. There’s a reason I hold the opinion I hold. It’s way more complicated than that. Wealthy people suffer from addiction as much as poor. Addiction doesn’t discriminate. Drugs can take away of a persons passion for a sober activity. Makes them less productive and very negative. It’s happened to me. I’m a tax paying working man but could of been so much more if I didn’t try alcohol and cocaine. Not to mention how using shortens your life span

That’s just not true. The rates of addiction across socioeconomic categories is well studied, it disproportionately affects lower income people even though drug use doesn’t drop. You are projecting your experience onto everyone else. “Since I couldn’t handle cocaine and alcohol everyone else will struggle too” This is exactly what he’s talking about when he says people will make critiques that aren’t familiar with the literature.
Microdosing has nothing to do with placebo, and there are definitely psychoactive effects! It's very difficult to describe but your entire perception can be tweaked in a very unique way that can make work easier, and daily tasks more engaging. This is the only thing so far I disagree with Dr Hart on.
Using meth is not a death sentence. 5 years minimum for holding a nickle sized amount is absolutely insane. You can't punish the addict out of a person. People need to mind their own business and let people live in peace.
