For $7 per bag, $10 oversize/luggage, visitors may store backpacks, purses, luggage, and shopping bags at the baggage storage area located in the front of the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center.
Entry to the Pearl Harbor National Memorial is free. Parking is available for a fee.
Entry to the USS Arizona memorial is free. The National Park Service (NPS) offers daily programs that include a movie about December 7th, 1941 Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and a boat ride to the USS Arizona Memorial. The boat tours start at 8:00am and go through 3:30 pm daily. Tours last approximately 45 minutes from the time you board your boat.
Reservations for the USS Arizona Memorial are available at recreation.gov. Limited amount of timed tickets are available through the website 56 days in the future. If there are no tickets available, additional tickets are released 3pm (HST) the day prior to visit. The National Park Service strongly recommends that visitors make advanced reservations as standby seats may not always be available.
USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park to Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum is conveniently located within the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. Climb aboard USS Bowfin for a close quarters look at life aboard a WWII-era submarine, and stroll among the many fascinating indoor and outdoor exhibits in the Pacific Submarine Museum. Allow 1 to 1.5 hours to get the most out of your visit.
Battleship Missouri Memorial and Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum are both located on Ford Island and are only accessible to the general public via the shuttle buses which depart from the Visitor Center every 15 minutes. The last shuttle back to the Visitor Center leaves at 5:00 p.m. from Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum.
Visitors with a valid military ID or contractors' permit are able to access Ford Island directly.
Guided tours of USS Missouri last anywhere between a half an hour and two hours, or explore the ship at your own pace on a self-guided walking tour that takes you above and below the decks of America's mightiest battleship.
Visitors to Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum can expect to spend two hours or more as they view the battle-damaged air field and control tower of historic Ford Island before setting foot inside the two WWII-era hangars that house the museum's impressive collection of vintage aircraft.
Tickets for these sites are available for purchase at the Pearl Harbor Historic Sites Ticket desk located in the courtyard of the Pearl Harbor National Memorial and at the entrance of the Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum, Battleship Missouri Memorial and Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum. Discounts are available to local residents and military personnel with valid id.

It's so good that you took your children here. They need this history. As an elderly person I feel sometimes no one wants to hear history anymore. Bless our military.

This memorial is so humbling.😔🇺🇸 As you showed us, it brought back memories and tears of us coming here 😢🇺🇸 When we visted, many years ago, they showed the movie first and we enjoyed the movie. Love it! I am American History teacher and it gets tougher & tougher to make Pearl Harbor relevant to this generation. 80 years later WWII is still the biggest game changing event that made the USA who we are. Thanks for posting!

I finally was able to visit here in 2021. It meant so much to me. My husband is retired Navy and has been many times so it was so special to have him take me to pay my respects.
I so enjoyed seeing your video of it.

Dad lost 2 brothers on the U. S. Arizona, Dec.7, 1941. I honored my uncle's who died on that ship when I visited. It was very emotional for me...😢😢

I'm like everyone else, I applaud you for taking your Family to visit this Historic, Humbling, and Moving memorial. I think History is very important and so are Memorials. It makes me very thankful to be an American Citizen because of the price being paid by all of our Military Men and Women. 💖🙏🇺🇸 God's blessings to everyone.

I have never had a historical site affect me like the Arizona Memorial. Our tour company got us there at the time of the initial attack. It was very sober like being in church. I was doing fine until I walked out onto the memorial and the first thing I noticed was I could smell the diesel leaching up from the Arizona and I saw the sheen on the ocean surface. From then I didn’t have a dry eye. To this day I can’t tell that story without breaking up and that was 25 years ago.

Nicely done. I'd like to go someday. Probably will be a while. Austin and I got to tour the USS Midway in San Diego when we lived in SoCal. My grandfather was in the Navy. I always think of him when it comes to these things.

What a nice video. I’ve been to the Pearl Harbor tree in the cove but never to Pearl Harbor, hopefully someday 🤞. I also wanted to say I’m very sorry you are having to deal with that other issue. As you know I enjoy all your videos and always find them so helpful, unlike someone else’s. Prayers🙏🏻

We spent 9 days in Oahu in June 2022. It was so amazing! We stayed in Ko Olina resort as well, but did not stay at Aulani. That little shopping center is tricky with the parking. We never did park there, but just walked over every time. We did the ATV Tour at Kualoa and also the zipline. Those were so much fun! We spent a whole day at Pearl Harbour and still had to go back another day to do the avaiation museum. We visited the ER there at Queens Medical. That was no fun, but it happens sometimes. Other things we did there was of course a luau, we visited Dole plantation, rode horses on north shore at Turtle Bay, we had professional pics made within the resort. A memorable vacation for sure.

Awesome Katie, we skipped going to the dull plantation as we saw a video on it, and it looked a little underwhelming. Pearl Harbor and the Jurassic Park tour. We did our two main excursions. We really enjoyed just relaxing at Aulani! Thanks for sharing your experience!

I found Pearl Harbor to be very touristy and gimmicky but then we went to out on the boat to the Arizona memorial and I was happy that it was done very respectively and tastefully and was very well respected to the lost sailors. I would say that I did enjoy the pearl harbor aviation museum and Missouri memorial battleship a lot better and would recommended these tours if you go to Hawaii. I think you also forgot to mention the bowfin submarine as another tour at pearl harbour, you can pay to go on and inside of the submarine and you can do a walk through tour with a headset.
