Our first BLUE ZONE: Car Trouble in Costa Rica | Santa Teresa VLOG | Isla Tortuga Snorkeling

In today’s video, we are going back to one of our favorite places on the planet: Costa Rica. We first visited this country back in 2019 and fell in love with the wildlife, volcanoes, and beaches here. We knew we couldn’t pack it all into one trip and would have to return one day.
On this round, we are not going back to any of the same places. We’ll be spending this whole trip on the Nicoya Peninsula - one of the world’s 5 blue zones.
We made it into Santa Teresa late last night after an eventful route that maps.me took us down, involving some back roads with seriously deep puddles. We were having car troubles in Costa Rica so we had to visit the mechanic to get the muffler pounded back into place.
Playa Santa Teresa, Playa Montezuma, and Playa Hermosa Cubano are all excellent places to visit for beach goers, especially those of you who love to surf!
A highlight of our visit to this area was the full day snorkel tour we did with Bahia Rica out to Isla Tortugas!
