My mum and I love this church it's so quaint and peaceful, it just oozes history and the stories are so interesting, maybe that's why we are drawn to it because it is involved with the vikings he he. The story of the two girls is so haunting but yet peaceful that they are laid to rest there. This vlog is mindfulness at its best it was so relaxing for me to watch and listen.
We absolutely love this graveyard, it calms you not matter what crazy day you've had. Ot really is a special place. I love to read the gravestones and visit certain ones regularly. Thanks for the comment. Take care 🙂
What a beautiful well kept church and graveyard. It is so nice to see that it has not been left to go wild. It looks as though most if not all of the graves are easily accessible, which is very important in these times when people are becoming interested in where their ancestors are laid to rest, and in visiting their final resting place to pay their respects. It broke my heart to go to a cemetery in Essex once, to find the graves of my ancestors, only to find it was completely overgrown and totally inaccessible. All done under the very flimsy excuse of 'returning it to nature' (in other words, no one to keep it tidy). It's soul destroying after traveling all that way. I'd be proud to know if any of my ancestors were buried here, although highly unlikely as we do not originate from that area. I just want to convey 10/10 for the tidiness of the church and site, and a very well done for the film and information. Can I just ask if this church has a crypt? If so, is it from the old original church or a more recent one? I'm not a morbid person by any means, but I do love looking in Church crypts and mausoleums, seeing how they are laid out and some of the fine coffins and fixtures, stone work etc, contained within them. It's like paying those who rest there a visit and letting them know that they are not forgotten. Thank you once again for a very informative film.
Thank you so much for the kind comment, we also love grave yards and old churches, the worst thing I have seen is blackpool Town centre church where the dead are still buried under the foot path in the town square, once again thank you for your comment and your support on our channel 😀
Just beautiful ! Have you ever attended a church service at it ? It would be so moving and peaceful. How uplifting you would feel when you came out with all that amazing scenery. Thanks for filming.
Yes we have been a few times and it feels so relaxing when we leave there especially when the tide is in and you can hear the waves, thanks for your comment and hope your well

Maybe that stone was an early calendar? The beasts on both ends is winter? One cyclus ? From one winter to another? Since seasons were crucial for survival? Just guessing . Great vid!!!
One of the most magical places I]ve ever been.
