Ed Sheeran is a great artist, primarily singer songwriter/pop music but began as a busker with a guitar and a loop petal so he really pays attention to the beats. He has a collaborations album feturing Eminem, Travis Scott, Chance The Rapper, Khalid, Cardi B, Justin Bieber, Stormzy, and 50 Cent. My personal favorite album is X (multiply) or Divide. Saw him live last year on his mathematics tour and almost the entire time it's just him with a guitar and some loops he was amazing.
Taylor has done so many genres: country, pop, rap, edm, indie, folk, synth pop. She's also done rock versions of her pop hits within her tour performances. I'd recommend DON'T BLAME ME or I DID SOMETHING BAD live from the Reputation Tour next.
Taylor always recognizes and supports talented artists…regardless of genre.👍😍
Oh & Ty for doing more Taylor!! All her reputation album songs are pretty lit. I would recommend the video for “Look What You Made Me Do” music video. It’s a pretty amazing video.
Ed “Sheer-ran” started his career with his best friend, Jamal. They’d busk or do anything to get noticed. Jamal started SBTV and would add Ed on there. At one point, Ed didn’t have anywhere to live, so Jamal opened his doors for Ed.
After Jamal was laid to rest, Ed was so devastated by Jamal’s sudden “departure” that he couldn’t continue his show as he was overwhelmed by his grief. He was on stage, crying and heartbroken. They were so great and happy working and doing silly stuff together, and they acted like true brothers.
Check this out from Ed ~ “You Need Me, I Don’t Need You”. It’s sooo good. Ed writes all of his songs, like Taylor does. They been very good friends for well over a decade. Ed’s current wife, Cherry, was invited by Ed to Taylor’s 4th of July party. When he says “Something was born on the 4th of July, he’s talking about Cherry. They’re married with 2 children now. I hope Ed has had the chance to cure his broken heart. He still contacts Jamal’s mother to check in and to see if she needs anything. He’s a really great guy. I’m not sure if you know much about rappers in the UK but Ed Sheeran has a song with Devon that’s pretty good.
Please……Don’t Blame Me……….Rep Tour. The best way to get to know her is to watch the Long Pond studio sessions of her folklore album. When you hear her talk about her lyrics, it’s just amazing to watch how creative she is.
