Yall do know that the actor for Ray was so post to be blue beetle at first then they had to Chang him. So they could had started making a blue beetle suit then just changed it to a Atom suit

Talyn81 My original thought was that they would due it near the prior to the his spin off series,but after seeing His bout with arrow with him shooting explosives and an eletric beam weapon or some sort I think they are literally taking Atom in the ironman direction and may not due it at all.

But once he learns that his suit has this ability Palmer would begin to focus on the shrinking ability and to enhance its effects over adding other weapons. Although I never read any of the ATOM comics so I don't know if the ATOM suit had weapons or could fly.
Talyn81 Oh no the original had no power suit or anything let alone the ability to fly or weapons.He wore a full red and blue spandex suit and used his powers primarily for research and being doctor,And in otherstories used his powers to create more advanced technology.Last Dc showhe was in was young justice and he used his powers to shrink down and enter the body of the blue beetle in an attempt to remove it.He has never been a fighter in any itteration.He seem often sitting on the shoulder of other heroes mainly the flash.
Lets be honest about atom suit..looks robocop + iron man + antman (movie) + deadshot(suicide squad movie) = american football gear protection from the future..
The scene just seemed cheap, the poorly made CG spin around ATOM when he is on the roof and the synth music in the background made it seem more like a fan made video than a clip from a TV show that has apparently had money spent on it. I like Brandon Routh but it seems he is just playing a cheap Iron Man knock off judging by this clip.
From amazing build-up in Arrow Season 3 to ultimately becoming a TRUE Legend. Ray Palmer AKA The Atom...one of the Arrowverse's greatest heroes. Brandon Routh was awesome in the role.
@@prxstcn2499 Yeah, that's what happened on the show. They did write Brandon off, which was utter disrespect. The only reason BR joined Arrow was because he was promised an ATOM spinoff which turned out to be Legends, and they catered to that glorified no name stunt girl who can't act instead.
