Jay lost his memories, so ALL of everything we saw before Dragon Rising aka Seasons 1-16 of the original series don't really apply to him anymore since he doesn't remember anything at all.

For example Cole was a Ninja before Zane but Zane has more experience than Cole because while Wu found Cole first Zane is more experienced in life and would take that point if facing each other. So if you specify it being battle experience maybe I can see it but general experience I still think Jay
