A Mod you'd like Syntac is Move Tool, it lets you rotate and move structures to a very fine detail plus you can scale structures to be bigger or smaller

Okay Syntac I'm gonna be real with you here, I don't know how everyone else who watches your videos feels about what I'm about to say but, I love it when you show us your building projects in ASA, I'd watch a 3 hour plus video of one of your building projects like this bridge, I know you say you regret it in the title but in my opinion in order for you to continue to build it even after you started regretting it to me means some part of you even if it's a small part really enjoys doing it because of all the different details and ways you can do the build For anyone that agrees that they'd watch a 3 hour plus building video from Syntac on ASA vote by liking or commenting this comment to show that you wouldn't mind it

It's honestly the crazy building projects that have kept me interested in Ark for so long. I've never been all that driven to beat the bosses or play PVP, so it's the desire to fuel my building projects that pushes me to get better tames and explore for resources. Nothing kills a save file faster than completeing all of my building ideas for a location 😂 One of my most-played games of all time and I've never beat a single map, lmao

Wow, the bridge is gorgeous! You mentioned the stairs at the end and the central area…for the stairs, maybe a landing halfway up would help minimize the steep look: for the center part, pedestals with artifacts and special Dino’s would be really cool!! Awesome job🎉👍!!
This reminds me of a guy on my cluster who built a big base on Extinction. He painted the whole thing, and then had to abandon the base because loading all the custom painted structures was lagging him out. I was a bit worried when you talked about painting this bridge. The rendering of structures is definitely improved in ASA which is great, but oh man I'd still be scared to build something of this magnitude within my main base's render distance. Anyway, the name Bridgette comes to mind.

This is so amazing, I can't even begin to describe the sheer amount of time and resources this took - you're a true Ark artist! But I thought about the beginning and the end, the steep stairs, maybe you could add like an extra step in the middle? Like it goes down 2 stairs and then out maybe 3 ceilings and then down 2, and you could add like a flat area on the side columns with something cool on them? Like on big stairs to museums and such? I don't know, you see these things so much better than all of us but that's just a thought that came to me, hope it made sense 😁 Thank you for the amazing inspiration! I miss these kind of decorations with Bobs tall tales on ASE...
ASR mod has great additional building things. More roof types, glass options, different slope stairs, more sloped rails and pillars too. Great mod all around really
Watching your adventures are always fun but seeing your builds just mesmerize me with how much detail you put into these and how well they always turn out
How about calling it the Bridge of Love, cos of the love you have for axe😁 Great episode again Syn, I have an idea up to yourself if ya wanted to roll with it, but that underground area below the bridge could be used as maybe a mini track for sending stuff to axe and back and forth,kinda like what ye did in Scorched but on a smaller scale to send stuff to each other. Even call it the Post Bridge!!

Found out a new building fact today. Turns out you can connect vacuum compartments to pillars and it will act as a foundation. I have a bridge (in creative mode) with them near the surface, only use one or 2 pillars and it works great. Figured it out when i placed pillars so deep into the ocean they werent counting as support
Under the bridge would be a great place for some track to send a train back and forth. Then that could also give the extra detail you wanted on the ends of the bridge.
For the entryways, you could perhaps use the ramps going down from where you have them. Then when they hit the edge, split it off, so the ramp access is a 'T' rather than the straight line. You could potentially mask the uneven walls using the stone rails, pillars, & half walls.

Does Syntac have a building problem? Yes. Do we want him to stop? No. All jokes aside I personally(and I can probably speak for quite a few people on here) absolutely love it when you build something like this. Especially if its needlessly grand looking. Everything you make is always unique and inspiring to see built.
I really like the Light Posts and Turbines that looks really good. The stone / Wood pattern is also really good. Did you put a structures workbench on the back of your Dinos Platform? Because if not that would be a great idea. If you can use the pickup gun you should pick up all the unnecessary foundations etc on the sea floor and on the center island just to reduce the number of structure bits in game, it will make it easier to load in. The Center building, originally i thought you were gonna make that a gate house with a huge gate in the middle or one on each end. The stairs DO look a bit steep but i would just leave it, messing with it will just frustrate you. All in all the whole thing looks great and your island base is getting wild the scope of what you are doing looks like something i would do. My last base was a massive aircraft hanger type building so large it had it's own weather system.
Neat bridge. You can embrace the off-center island and make the gatehouse asymmetrical. If you can pillars at angles, there are tricks using the funny snap points of wood spike walls to get any angle you want. Even sideways walls so you can use giant hatchrames in place of doors.

If you want to make the stairs appear less steep, perhaps you could use ceilings between like every two or three stair pieces to create a tiered look with landings. You could then have the stairs extend outside of the bridge, which would add a little more depth and texture to the exit/entrance of the bridge and make it look a little less flat.

The center section reminds me of the old time pictures of Grand Central Station before the skyscrapers took over. Very classy build.

but its not fully compatible with the skins. yes, it hats 45° sloped beams, but those don't work with frontier skins for example.

Love the bridge and and the video. On top of one of the sea spires (rock pillars) near your base you should build a "Flyers only" Club/Bar.
All honestly. I love the bright. It brings more uniqueness to the world and I would've taking a stroll on the long neck just to bask in it.

If you want to make the stairs appear less steep, perhaps you could use ceilings between like every two or three stair pieces to create a tiered look with landings. You could then have the stairs extend outside of the bridge, which would add a little more depth and texture to the exit/entrance of the bridge and make it look a little less flat.
