I would say it's a tie between this place & DreamWorks for my favorite indoor water park. DreamWorks may have a magnetic water coaster & the 140 ft tall trapdoor slides, but the Kalahari Resort does a far better job with the other on-site amenities (restaurants, lodging, etc.) than the American Dream Mall ever could.
yeah ive ridden all fo these slide types before, and im not a water park guy or anything ive been to about 5 in my life but these slide types are just everywhere
I have ben to the sandusky Kalahari 6 times the first time I went the resort just opened a week before I got there. It was the best resot I had ever stayed at but every time I have sines it is so crowed I'll tell myself that it never again but after a while I'll miss it and give it 1 more shot.
First off, go to the other 3 Kalahari resorts as well. So far I've only been to the one in Wisconsin Dells but you can bet they're all on my list. Second, now that you've been to the 2 largest indoor waterparks in America, which one do you like more? This one or DreamWorks Waterpark at American Dream?
Great video! I’ve been to pocono and Cincinnati but I’ve looked up all of them bc I’m a waterpark fan and I’d say this and pocono are best but I’d give the edge to pocono as it has the same slides but instead of Hout Bay, they have a proslide water coaster
Very under ratted review! You give a lot of details that I could not find in any other video! Thank you for the review
You're welcome!
I really enjoy waterslides. Nice Review 👍
Thanks!
I stay at the Sandusky location when we go to cedar point, the hotel rooms are very nice and they used to have a water coaster but it was removed
Bummer!

I prefer Dreamworks.
I've been to the Sandusky one and really like it, but it is not worth its price. I mainly went for when I was done at Cedar Point.
I saw that one got rid of their water coaster.
@@CanobieCoaster that was my favorite thing there. I was wondering where it was when I went last month.

Again it's great if you're a die-hard water park fan or haven't been on these types though.
@@CanobieCoaster yeah exactly

I guess I got lucky with crowds!
Last October I spent my 12th b-day at the kalahari in the Poconos. Some of the lines reached over an hour long
Wow! That's good to know if I ever go there. Was it a long weekend or something?
8:55 maybe the way they built it
Possibly? Or it could just be the angle? Whatever it is, that one is the only bad one I've ridden.
I’m going tomorrow and I super happy❤️😍😝🥳
Enjoy!
@@CanobieCoaster it was the funnest thing ever

DreamWorks by far. It has a much stronger lineup.
@@CanobieCoaster I haven't been to either, but... agreed

Is the water coaster at Pocono any good or is it just ok?
@@CanobieCoaster not top tier but it is very good for an indoor park, not on toothless level as that is one of the world's best
I think kalahari should open a location in Georgia some time
That would be nice.
2:00 "if you're just there to watch younger guests." Sounds like it might be time for a meeting with the ol chris hansen if that's your intent😳...
🤣😂
Whoops, yeah that was referring to parents watching their kids.
@@CanobieCoaster yeah I know I'm just joking lol
@@CoasterRoaster I'm just going to trim that part out just to be safe so it's never taken out of context.
I’m going next weekend
Nice!

Kalahari: Round Rock is the biggest indoor waterpark in the usa.
Dreamworks Waterpark: crying in the corner
Both are huge.
Places like this should have life jackets....
They very well could offer them, but I wasn't checking.
They do offer life jackets for both toddlers and younger kids. They have them all throughout the park.
