This has to be one of the safest places in the Ukraine to be at this time - high in the beautiful remote mountains of Southwestern Ukraine, not too far from the Romanian border. No restaurants, no government infrastructure, or industrial operations. What a beautiful place - I hope it continues to not be disturbed. Thank you for sharing your beautiful life and home with us!
My grandmother also made cabbage rolls, but she did hers in a different way. She would put a layer of cabbage leaves on the bottom of the pot. She didn't use pickled cabbage, she would blanch one head of fresh cabbage in a pot of hot water and remove the leaves. She would roll a mixture of ground beef, diced onion and uncooked rice into whole cabbage leaves, not one half of a leaf as shown here. She would put all of the cabbage rolls in an enormous pot, and fill the pot with tomato juice. We ate them with rye bread and butter.

She is very beautiful and when I saw her long fingers that means she is 6'0" tall. Her town is beautiful and cold. It is rude to say such a thing about the dog when you're invited to visit this way. You would not want someone to tell you what to do in your own home. Why do this here? Many dogs prefer to be outside. Their fur is much thicker than house bred and bound dogs. They are uncomfortable in the warmth YOU THINK they should be in. Please be mindful of courtesy when visiting other cultures on utube videos. Anything else is arrogant.

Here, in Romania, these are called "sarmale". From region to region they have small differences. But there is also another kind of "sarmale" wrapped in tender vine leaves and whose sauce is topped with borscht, and flavored with bay leaves, and others to taste. What I liked about the lady is the fact that she had the patience to make them small. Well done!

Costumele populare sunt din Bucovina și Maramureș, teritorii care au fost ocupate de CCCP in 1940 și anexate cu forța în urma pactului Ribbentrop-molotov și care au aparținut Regatului României. Populația este vorbitoare de limbă română dar ucrainizata deoarece autoritățile au interzis ziare, Radio, TV in limba romana. Casele sunt identice cu cele din nordul României, tradițiile culinare sunt identice. Ucraina ar trebui să aibă grijă de minorități dacă dorește respectul Occidentului.
Da, varza e puțin mai ne urata. Costumele sunt din Maramureșul istoric si ținutul Basarabiei de Nord.. Pana și construcțiile sunt la fel.. Noi mai punem la sarmale pe lângă sa fiarbă și costiță de porc afumate, oase de porc afumate, aici îs simple, mai punem șorici cruzi sau mai afumați. Голубцы из квашеной капусты- срань редкостная. Просто вы их не пробовали. Они скользкие,кислые,покрытые пленкой. Короче,простые намного лучше.

Here, in Romania, these are called "sarmale". From region to region they have small differences. But there is also another kind of "sarmale" wrapped in tender vine leaves and whose sauce is topped with borscht, and flavored with bay leaves, and others to taste.

Aceste sunt sarmalele noastre din Bucovina România, le preparam cu drag, mereu. Se prepara deci și la câteva sute km nord de Bucovina, în Ucraina. Felicitări. Salutari de la o bucivineanca

Costumele populare sunt din Bucovina și Maramureș, teritorii care au fost ocupate de CCCP in 1940 și anexate cu forța în urma pactului Ribbentrop-molotov și care au aparținut Regatului României. Populația este vorbitoare de limbă română dar ucrainizata deoarece autoritățile au interzis ziare, Radio, TV in limba romana. Casele sunt identice cu cele din nordul României, tradițiile culinare sunt identice. Ucraina ar trebui să aibă grijă de minorități dacă dorește respectul Occidentului.
Da, varza e puțin mai ne urata. Costumele sunt din Maramureșul istoric si ținutul Basarabiei de Nord.. Pana și construcțiile sunt la fel.. Noi mai punem la sarmale pe lângă sa fiarbă și costiță de porc afumate, oase de porc afumate, aici îs simple, mai punem șorici cruzi sau mai afumați.
