After watching this, you remember countless blues solos you've heard are patterned this way. It's like most others are teaching you how to dig a hole by showing you dirt and different holes, while he's showing you how to wield a shovel.

Sean is great, but I love the structure and focus on lead playing that you have. Paul David’s is great with production value but you just absolutely kill it. Never Lost Pentatonic took things off the ground for me and stuff like this really takes that to the next level. Never give up man

Been traveling all week so I have not had an opportunity to watch this until this morning. WOW Ian what a great way to make you think and give you purpose every time you pick up the guitar and try to play over at 12 bar blues. Yes, opportunities to improvise, but with the purpose of creating and coming back to a solid and maybe quite simple melody. Really love it. Improvising and thinking at the same time.

No doubt regarding the title! Watching your video after posting this comment...I watched your blues classes a month ago and my melody making improved tremendously!

Great lesson I can see how it moves the progression and melody. What you offer is a treasure but we don't bury it we share it like you shared with us not very many people offer this kind of opportunity to get your chops down it is there to learn and I see why you have and continue to get subscribers. I am entering my 3rd summer watching and learning with Stitch Method...Thank you Sir
