Nice video! Great content. Unfortunately it was slightly out of frame after the 3 minute mark. Your hands were too high to the upper left as you view it. But great channel!
it seems the wiha old version is less sloppy than the wera rapidaptor that festool has adopted is this true? Also I have a few wera screwdrivers I’m not keen on the handle shape or the slop in the connection between the bit holder and the handle.
Thing is, the wiha style takes both and has less bit wobble (see other youtube vid). So feel your video doesnt discuss how tight it grabs the bits which it needs to.
Thanks for this video. Festool would sell a lot more tools if they would explain what they do sell. There is NO other explanation, anywhere that describes this tool and it's compatibility with BOTH Centrotec and the standard 1/4 inch hex bits.
Thanks ….. Information I needed. Great Video.
Nice detailed video

Is the new Wera handle a soft rubber for the entire handle?
Can I ask.does the wera 816r take centrotec bits.great video by the way
I really prefer the old Wiha version.

I thought the CXS was only compatible with Centrotec bits. Was that always wrong, or has there been a change?
@@johnnewell5025 The CXS always comes with an adapter to use regular bits.
