    The funny thing that not a lot of viewers of Trex info and content really talk about is *just how many goddamn rex skeletons we've found*
    Normally you'd have to hunt for a while to get even a single specimen of a dinosaur fossil. However, the rex and related fossils are so unbelievably common that paleontologists *specifically looking for other dinos* kept getting annoyed because all they were finding was rex fossils.
    This implies that they were such a successful animal that they were everywhere without contest. They really did evolve to be the ultimate therapod before a giant rock hit the planet.

    Glad this fight didn’t just say “T.rex wins with ease”
    But actually made it fair, and didn’t say Spinosaurus had a weak bite, because it didn’t, a bite could still do a lot of damage.
    Though I like Spinosaurus more than T.Rex I can say it (T.rex) wins on land, not with ease though, 1 well placed bite could insta-kill the Spinosaurus.
    And a well placed swipe could end up with the Spinosaurus winning.
    A fight I would like to see would be Carno v. Cera
    This is a Cnp
    It would win on land (rex) and yes, after the newer etas for rex’s (scotty, sue, stan) which is 11 tonnes atm for scotty would demolish Spino
    However, newer studies with bone density, shows that Spino was mainly in the water, so it would win high diff in the water.
    T.Rex can swim, like every other Dinosaur, but couldn’t dive.
    Currently, the largest Spinosaurus (Possible Spinosaurus) is Spinosaurus Indet. being 7.1-7.5 tonnes, so Scotty being 3.5 tonnes heavier would destroy it low diff on land.

      I'd like to point out that gojicenter overestimated and exaggerated a few things. Spinosaurus did not have the bite as strong as goji said, and tyrannosaurus has a max of 11.5 metric tonnes, and spino had maxes of like 6-7 metric tonnes (iirc the one gonicenters refers too has overestimated femur and hips which causes the rest of the animal to be overestimated), neither does it have the arm power to do anything. Spinosaurus' arm has difficulty puncturing normal small car doors. Spino also isn't nearly as agile as you think in water, as a study happened with spinosaurus swimming loke an eel only placed it at around 6 miles per hour, and tyrannosaurus definitely gets close to that swim speed. All in all spino gets hard clapped on land and still gets clapped in water

    T-Rex could have used its arms to mate by gripping onto their partners back when it was time to do the deed.
    They probably couldn't use their mouths to hold on since the bite would've been too devastating, even if the Rex wasn''t *trying* to cause harm. Think of how a great white shark bite is still gonna be lethal, even though odds are it's just "taste testing" you or something innocent like that. Rexes needed a safe way to interlock during courtship...hence strong arms.

      Great Whites actually have a bite force relatively equivalent to a human's. Their bite is lethal because their teeth are designed to slide right into flesh without any resistance and then rip their way back out.
      Rex teeth are extremely blunt compared to a shark's teeth, much more comparable to a dog's teeth, so they absolutely could control their bite force more than enough to simply grapple a mate or pick a baby up or smth.

    One thing Goji forgot to mention is that with the Spinosaurus teeth working like crocodile teeth, when the Spino bit the T-rex those conicle teeth are meant for grabbing and holding which means the more it's prey struggles in it's mouth to get free the more damage that would be inflicted because of the way the Spino's teeth grab and hold on to prey.

    • @TheChill001
      @TheChill001 2 года назад +4

      that's true, but at the same time considering the T-rex' muscles, the whole jawlocking thing doesn't always hold true. They won't be able to "zone off" a t rex which would give it ample opportunity to bite off the spino face. Also the spino is not a bear, its arms are not that long in comparison to its body. You see when you talk about Rex v. Spino, you basically have to think about it like this.
    Spino v Rex is like a Boat with a couple guns on it being put up against a tank.
    If it's on land, the Boat can't do anything, outside of the few weapons it has, but it sure as hell can't go anywhere and is easily outmatched.
    Put them in the water, and the Tank is sinking straight down, regardless of how hard it shoots, and the boat is racing circles around it and letting it sink into its watery grave.
    If you were to compare Spino to a modern croc, you'd generally see them basically never leave the water's edge outside of basking in the sun, while T-rex was definitely more prone to travel. If you were to consider how these creatures would actually fight had they lived at the same time and in the same environment somehow, you'd have to take note of the fact that Spino doesn't need to leave the water, his ultimate weapon, while any terrestrial dinosaur can't stay on land without looking for water forever.
    At the same time, droughts and other odd situations can occur, just like how the Spino went extinct, hence a time where any terrestrial dinosaur looking to challenge it could best a Spinosaurus.
    Once again, as I said, it's like putting a boat up against a tank. They're both masters of completely different worlds, you can't really put them up against eachother very realistically because there's no middle ground for their environment pretty much outside of very specific situations that are just...a bit complex to be honest. Basically it's a matchup that has way too many "What-ifs" tied to it for whatever winner plays out.
    We can't say one is more combat capable than the other, because once again, Tank and Boat.

      It was referred to both in script and even now official as the bull rex, which they have officially called a juvenile, the problem is that the term bull is used to refer to fully grown adult male specimens. Since it was originally called a bull trex, and it is still called a bull trex (which they are somehow are claiming is a juvenile) than its an adult. I'm sorry, but it was originally a bull and still IS a bull. Them "officially" claiming it is a juvenile while still officially saying its a bull trex is a directly contradiction, and since all the original material also referred to it as a bull, more evidence suggests it was fully grown. people like to claim that since it was like 2 feet smaller than rexy it was a juvenile, but size variation does exist amongst animals in real life, and we've seen far greater variation. The fact the JP3 rex was like 2 feet shorter than rexy doesn't mean its not fully grown.

    Alright, I'm gonna leave it at this, (hopefully I don't get attacked by any fanboys,) but anyway, I would say either would win on land and water, this would heavily depend on the skill of the asset.
    If both were skilled and cautious about what one is gonna use, it would be a 50/50, although if the rex is more cautious and more skilled, the rex would will due to intellectual battle iq and shit like that. But if the spino was more cautious and skilled, it would win, just depends on the battle iq.
    I would say in the water, Tyrannosaurus was not capable of swimming that deep, (atleast I believe) though if that were the case, then spino would win since rex wouldn't be able to dive down that deep. Plus spino did adapt to semi aquatic spots.
    Although, if it was on land Tyrannosaurus, mainly because of it adapting more on land.
    On land I would say Rex most of the time.

    • @TaurusSaurus
      @TaurusSaurus 2 года назад +1

      The tyrannosaurus had hollow bones like most theropod carnivores so no it couldn’t dive underwater, and the reason they lost out of their element is because of mobility, the only weapon the tyrannosaurus really has is it’s jaw and of it’s outmaneuvered then it would be difficult for it to utilize that weapon so it’s almost helpless in the water against a creature that is to quick in the water to hit, meanwhile on land not only can tyrannosaurus outmaneuver spino but it can more effectively utilize it’s problem solving skills.

Crocs also hit with their tail out of water shockingly no measurement on how hard can hit with it. At least I could find may need help. So even though spino is slow it could hit with tail however doesn't matter trex bites tail boom he can swim walk do anything.

    It's true that the tyrannosaurus could win most battles on land except if it tried to hunt a ankylo it would leave with either a fractured skull or a fractured feamure as the ankylo can swing its club withs force of 14,650 NEWTONS

    • @dwoods3244

      I mean just about all of large herbivores in Hell Creek could defeat a Rex. Trikes with armoured head and powerful horns, ankys being tanks and surprisingly, fully grown edmontos could beat a Rex, as Becky's Giant and X-rex show us that Edmonto is the largest hadrosaur, with a maximum weight of 18 tons, it could just stomp and kick a Rex.
      We could also include other animals, like most sauropods, deinosuchus as it was much larger then Rex, had a stronger bite and armour etc.
      Hell even the Straight Tusked Asian elephant (Paleoloxodon Namidicus) with a weight of 20-22 tons could beat a Rex with its powerful kicks and tusks.

  • @Tyrannosaurus_rex.
    @Tyrannosaurus_rex. Год назад

    Tyrannosaurus wins on land and in water most of the time, probably around 94% on land and 85% in water. Tyrannosaurus' largest specimen is 12,458 kg (BHI 6248) while Spinosaurus has a maximum of around 8 tonnes.
