Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Nice pond. Might be interesting to see a revisit to see the cows drinking from it. Have to admit I envisioned something a little different, but hey your the guy building it. 😂 I was thinking two corners facing the other way with a section the width of two block lengths backing into the hillside with the tops just above water height. With fence across the pond opening leaving about a water trough depth exposed for the cows. Wishing you and your family the best.
Some tricky shit there my friend friggin awesome just love watching you and that puppy dog mmm yeah Aaron you crack me up love both you guys together cheers
Good morning sunshines! I just knew when you were straddling that pipe you were gonna use the bucket to push MBTS over head first! Lol! Would have been real funny! Lol! Great video! Much love and respect from Henderson Ga USA
I'd never seen those big retaining wall blocks before the job where you kept the house from sliding into the ditch but those are AMAZING! I've built a couple with cinder block or decorative block but I'd PAY a contractor to do in 1/2 hour what it'd take DAYS for me to do by hand!
DP has used these blocks more often. I remember the house overlooking the Ohio River (with hardly room for manoevring) and a house next to a dyke (former railway?). DP is proud of his block-angling. ;-) Besides, there is the channel of Mr. Digg. At his landfill they make such blocks from leftovers from concrete trucks. There are videos here, at Mr. Digg and on LetsDig18 where they examine those blocks. A bit (weeks?) later, Mr. Digg shows us how they make them.
Wonder what the cows are going to when the water level drops down two foot in the summer time .. ( Fall of the cement blocks ) I bet those cows will figure it out ...Love all your camera angles.. Ya'll be safe ,See Ya
How is this pond to be filled? - wet weather water run off or if not how? I cannot fathom out how the cattle will drink in the summer months or a drought period when the surface water level falls. Afterall wasn't the overflow system set such that the top 4 - 6 inches above the top level of the top row of blocks and beyond that point that it drains excess water away? I have major doubts that this will work as intended all summer.
Good video, block useage is a new one for me.pond is one of a kind for sure.y’all just continue on having fun with whatever you do to entertain yourself.be safe.just continue on doing.on to the next.😎😎😎👍👍👍
Did look hot, not sure what your seasons are like, but didn't think it would be that warm, normally. Like the water feature for the cows, they will be really happy once it's got water in it. Definitely twitchy bum time on the 210, who needs to go on a fair ground ride after that. 👍
Yep, if livestock can get in the pond, they will stomp the life out of it. Is he pouring a slab on top of the blocks? Everything looks great! I worried about that t-post and the last tire on the trailer! Close. Great video! Thanks Mike & Aaron! Lee
If you want to see the block process, have a look here, at Mr Digg! D.P. has done a collaboration video with him too. You’ll need to search Mr Digg Concrete block! My post keeps getting removed probably because of the link, hopefully it will get through this time, you’ll need to remove 3 spaces to turn it into a link. Nope got deleted again!
Im sure im not the only one that want's you to revisit this pond and see if it works like the owner thinks it will 🤔 and I think you had to change your Fruit of the Looms after tracking down that back wall as that was crazy steep great job guys 👍
Mike, the overflow looks like it's 5/6 feet higher than the opposite side of the pond, looking from the end where you added the blocks, looks like it's all different heights great video as always
Today we learned that Aaron's a jack donkey 🫏 and jack donkeys can drive compactors.😊 Oh, and DP does use a shovel once in awhile.😂 Nice work guys as always.
Oh My God Mike..! You guys put the pipe “bells” facing uphill…, hahaha…! That’ll never last. Nice “threading-of-the-needle”, bringing those blocks in on the semi. Thank you sir.
They have it correct. If you turn the bells downhill and the seal leaks it will wash out everthing below it. If seal leaks with bells uphill the water would have to reverse uphill and then follow path back up to get out of pipe. Worst Case scenario, If there was constant heavy flow and seal leaked it could pull the dirt into pipe (by vacuum) but that is highly unlikely because it is an overflow and won't have that much water running through it.
So Mike you called Aaron a Jack Azz, well you call it like you see it and Aaron can be a real stubborn Jack Azz at times,,like with his canary yellow paint!😂😂😂
Maybe next one we understand what the cattle 🐄 wall will be love the Shinkansen’s going on between you two great watch 210 handled back side of the dam like a champ operator my ass lol 👍👋🇨🇦
That's a nice hill. To bad the property owner didn't have any rock on his property. Would have been nice to build a waterfall of the end of that overflow. Instead of running pipe the whole way.
I am thinking it works like (not sure of the actual name) the gapped bridge used instead of gates. Cows will not cross because they can see through the open spaces in the floor of the bridge. With this. the fence will come up to the concrete blocks on each side. The cows will walk up and not cross due to the depth. But I think I would have had a 1 foot deep wading area for the cows there as well.
Mike must have allergys real bad. He started to sound like he has a cold...ohh by the way when do we get to see the new barrowed equipment from sales people? The suspense is killing us
Glad you are using the H210 on this steep bank, the Case may have been too light in the counter weight dept. while standing on it's nose! There's a pretty little birdie attracted to the camera this a.m. flitting round n round, cute! 60' drop? Looks like 6,000' drop! Can't wait to see you "walk up the side " of this cliff face, yikes! Be careful Aaron! Landslide building! Hey, we all feel cheated you didn't show us your ascent to the top of the dam! We want a retake! Shucks!!! Anyway, who is the genius that is going to "train" the cattle how to use this water feature? Even dogs have to learn where the steps are! Cows? Not as bright! Owner better head count his cows every morning. DP will be getting an emergency call to bring the exc over to pluck out the fatalities! Wanna take some bets, lol? What is Farmer Chris' opinion of this watering hole? Time will tell, hope not a catastrophic failure.
A chain is only as strong as its weakest link? With that being said, Look at the hook, where it connects to the chain, if its the type that connects with a pin and coffee key, Look at those two little links the pin goes through on the hook. Trusting soles?
Did you know? A pipe at a steep angle cannot carry as much water as a pipe level. Any truth to that? Maybe why they use the riser to a deep discharge pipe?
And this is why I like this channel! Thank you!
It's turday and we get a awesome video for Mike and Aaron that sure is some sticky clay dirt great driving and job thanks
Great job putting the blocks in place guys
I hope we get to see it full of water. Nice work guys
Mr dirt perfect, I don't think anyone can fault your driving skills and your bloke building as good as the other projects that you've completed 👍
This dry year has helped you out on several of your adventures. But you guys do pretty well in the mud also thanks for taking me along
Absolutely spectacular! D.P. Aaron, the pond is amazing. It would be nice to see it full of water. Thanks for sharing!😊
It is going to be interesting to see this dam filled and the cattle using it. Great job guys.
Great job running the excavator Mr Dirt Perfect

Job well done driving and backing the semi and trailer

They’ll just walk around to the other side and get a drink..
They get thirsty enough they will find a way
Good morning, Thursday, November 7th. Have a incredible day, little man and dirt, perfect.
i love the sound of them pipes
I remember that video , i think it was my first view on your channel , what a change , great job
with the 120 and old floppy bucket.
That bridge has held up great! Boy, time flies.
Times have changed, there was a time they would have cleaned the trailer deck off. :)
We're watching this November 7th.. you really are the history channel lol.
Good video, block useage is a new one for me.pond is one of a kind for sure.y’all just continue on having fun with whatever you do to entertain yourself.be safe.just continue on doing.on to the next.😎😎😎👍👍👍
Morning Coffees on! Here we go! You guys Rock! Cheers!;-)!
Hi Mike & Aaron & it's is Randy and i like yours video is Cool & Thanks Mike & Aaron & Friends Randy
Thanks 👍
Love the sound of your Truck. 😊 Sadly straight piping is not allowed in germany 😢
I hope your going to supply us with before and after videos? Be nice to see the end result, pond filled.
Another great video, I’d love to know if that addition actually works or if the cattle will just wander into the pond anyway!
Looking good fellas
Looks smick - can't wait to see finished product. Please revisit this dam when its full. Its unique.
Seeing it full would be nice. Hopefully the land owner lets them show it.
26:33 "Dave's not here". 😁
I know you two joke around alot, but when you swung that block at Aaron...I was glad that chain held ..
Did look hot, not sure what your seasons are like, but didn't think it would be that warm, normally. Like the water feature for the cows, they will be really happy once it's got water in it. Definitely twitchy bum time on the 210, who needs to go on a fair ground ride after that. 👍
Somebody please get this man some flipflops he's a supertrucker!
Yep, if livestock can get in the pond, they will stomp the life out of it. Is he pouring a slab on top of the blocks? Everything looks great! I worried about that t-post and the last tire on the trailer! Close. Great video! Thanks Mike & Aaron! Lee
Special solutions as always.
Looks awesome for sure.
Another great one❤
Good Morning from NJ. A quick vid of the cement blocks being cast would be interesting.

I think Mr. dirt perfect should buy the man behind the scenes a hat with a fan in it for those hot days while you are setting in AC
I know it is no longer hot but black t shirts in summer heat is a no go. Need white summer Dirt Perfect shirts.
Good morning from Arkansas!
" I really didn't need any more dirt down here" perfection MBTS 🤣😂🤣
Drone me! Been one nore step. Pat your head, Rub your belly. Fly a drone. LOL! Nice drivin"
Good morning from Siesta Key Florida

Shovel; Manual powered excavator

Looks great 😎
Great job and it looks like you both live on the edge.
MM77 Approved 👍🏼 👍🏼…………………………………………………..Ok, now I get it. I didn’t know how that watering trough would work.
Sounds like you need more exercise, or getting a cold. :) Thank you and have a wonderful day.
Mike complaining about the sun/heat. 😊 At this point in time, it's 45 degrees outside. Lol
Great video! Looks like to me when the cows want to take a dip to get cool, they will fall into the abyss. Please explain. Thank you ❤
Love the video , please stop smoking you will get not get out of breath as much 😉
Great video MBTS and your costar DP!
So Mike you called Aaron a Jack Azz, well you call it like you see it and Aaron can be a real stubborn Jack Azz at times,,like with his canary yellow paint!😂😂😂
As a subscriber, admirer & hopefully a friend:
You REALLY have to CUT BACK on the Soda. That stuff will KILL YOU !!! Too much acid & corn syrup !!!
❤ from Norway
Good morning hi Mike and Aaron how are you guys doing today from Chris
My subwoofer makes me feel the compactor vibration. 😂
Was worried you were gonna rob Jerry's soap again!
Pipe bells are in backwards; bells need to be facing downhill. Mike even said that before backfilling.
You guys crack me up !!!
Maybe next one we understand what the cattle 🐄 wall will be love the Shinkansen’s going on between you two great watch 210 handled back side of the dam like a champ operator my ass lol 👍👋🇨🇦

Don't drink coffee??? Lordy goodness!😂
Aron! Barn door open at 30:10!
I wonder if DP will invest in a jumpng jack compactor for these type of jobs to compact in by the pipes.
Was that a Hummingbird @54:24? Photo bombed MBTS's pan of the pond scene?
Looked like it, pretty lil birdie!
When you were putting the over flow trench, that engine must have a large oil pan. especially at the angle you were at.
That's going to be cattle leg breaker. Their feet are going to go between the block and ground and they'll break their leg.
Almost Evil Knievel type of stuff burning and tamping in that pipe!
What do those big retaining wall blocks weigh ?
You need one of those compactors for your excavator, like let's dig, has for his.
You mean either the digger compactor or the jumping jack compactor or both lol ?
I am thinking it works like (not sure of the actual name) the gapped bridge used instead of gates. Cows will not cross because they can see through the open spaces in the floor of the bridge. Cattle Guards
Seems dirt perfectly sense able to me .
That would be a good name for aaron , call him muley
How do the ponds fill? Just rain?
If you can would you show the pond filled later Jim Swanson Oregon Ohio
At around 18:20, DP (or the 210 itself) seems to wonder where he buried that bone. ;-)
Mark you can resist a pluck a few trees
Swinging a concrete block at Aaron (Mini-DP) could be considered a 'Block on Blockhead' crime.
Its going to a feed for the cows i hope there have a lifr belt on dont want them slipping in the pond ir there be swimming 🥽🥶 lol only joking
MBTS SAID THAT IT CAN'T BE DONE BECAUSE HE NEW DP WOULD DO IT ONE WAY OR ANOTHER LOL 😅😊😮😊
Across the pond to the other side look way low to the damn side
Mike must have allergys real bad. He started to sound like he has a cold...ohh by the way when do we get to see the new barrowed equipment from sales people? The suspense is killing us

You should of gone old school and tracked it in with the tracks of the Hyundai 100 tracks instead risking getting the roller stuck
❤
