Thanks so much for posting this! I'm setting up a treasure hunt for my 4 siblings for Christmas this year and this gave me a lot of great ideas!

I like the story/note, it could be kept with the same sentimentality as a handwritten letter. Good video.

This is so cool! Thank you for all the awesome ideas! This exactly what I need! I like how you said five hours because mine will be two hours 😂

I’m thinking of setting up a treasure hunt myself but I want to leave the treasure hidden for years until somebody finds it and if the treasure is a bottle of Whisky I doubt anybody will let me hide it on their land because it’s age restricted and anyone could find it. Back to the drawing board!

Is it possible to make a treasure hunt for multiple people that don't work together (like more than 50?) and how would this be done? (not online)

You could make it more like a scavenger hunt with a treasure/fantasy theme. So there are various locations with objects they have to collect/ challenges to overcome. I don't know what any of your parameters are but for example if there's a park close by then one stop of the map could be "collect a fallen leaf form this wise tree" . Another clue/ stop could be "recover the ancient words" from a local landmark plaque or something. Make like 5 different maps with the order of the stops jumbled for each version. That way everyone isn't going in the same direction . Then make the final stop (treasure location) the same for everyone. Just an idea though, hope it helps!

go look up the gravity falls Cipher hunt. This is probably way bigger than what you want to do, but it might give you some ideas.

Hey Hogwa5h Gaming. Your passion for these kinds of scavenger hunts is so apparent and familiar. Is there somewhere I could message you to get some ideas from you about your favorite cyphers/codes/locations? I have some experience, but always excited to hear new tricks! Would love to chat, thanks!

Glad you like the video! I left a lot of links to some of my favorite code/clue/cypher websites in the description. This video is getting a lot of attention currently so I might put one together that shows the actual step-by-step process of making a treasure hunt. If you're interested in seeing a (very poorly filmed) hunt start to finish, check this out": ruclips.net/video/jiyTtOW3-HM/видео.html
