I had a 2.3cm accoustic neuroma at 29 years old, thirty years ago. Surgery was 19 hrs and seven surgeons alternating for a surgery that was not even possible in mid 80's. Facial paralysis and right ear total loss replaced by loud tinnitus. Pain is a constant companion. Tumor returned in six months and I received 23 rads in a newly invented Gamma Knife and the radiation is taking all my teeth over past 4 years. Most days I thank God to be alive.
A close friend of mine passed away from cancer in his 40's. Dude was in the prime of his life and very fit. People can get struck with terrible ailments at young ages and it's something that many of us don't like to acknowledge, or just be in denial over that. I'm in my 40's now and get a physical every year. Just now starting to realize that health is everything
A strong commitment between this awesome couple and to be there for each other no matter what the circumstances are, i admired this fine couple and hope the best in their life!!!!
