It’s geared for new junk journalers, but everyone’s welcome to play along. So, please: pull up a seat, find something delicious to drink and let’s hangout for a bit.
PLEASE NOTE: these videos are made for adults by an adult who values strong language (once in a while, that means the use of profanity). As a college English professor & writer: I don’t believe there’s any such thing as a “bad” word 🤓. On the other hand, I do believe whole-heartedly (and am quite fluent) in sarcasm & sass 🦀. The red white and blue pages - on the left where you saw fishing lures I saw a magical mushroom forest, and on the right page I saw penguins. 🍄🐧There was a black and white page with vertical paint strokes that made me think of a forest of birch trees. Your wildflowers are soooooo pretty….wow….
Hmmm what would I do next to these pages? I think I would open to a page and let the pattern of the paint inspire me to turn it into whatever I “see”. (like the mushroom forest!) I might glue in some magazine images, bits and scraps of papers, ribbons, words and ink doodles, sketches and marks to build it up from an idea to a full-fledged story.

Isn't it so cool that we all see different stuff in the same page? I love your penguins idea and magical mushroom forest! I wonder, is it the Malifacent-y page that you are talking about? That one has birch trees too, could certainly be a dark, 💜🖤💚-y forest. I love that.

The more I flip through it, the more I think that the next one (or even in this one) I'll do some on the back pages as well, tear them out and use them in signatures. I think they'll make GREAT pages.

Love, love love! 💕 for you, each page must be a reminder of the project you worked on. For me, it’s almost like you giving me permission to just put that paint down and not waste it, but also to try new things when “cleaning” a tool. Thank for sharing!
You know, one would think that to be so, but I have worked really hard on "starting fresh each day" (only looking forward, focusing on what I want vs. looking back and holding on to whatever happened yesterday, PCU stuff) that I honestly don't remember very many of them at all. A few (dark fairy tale themed project had some distinct colors, Dad's patriotic junk journal gift bundle) but that's really about it 😂
ABSOLUTELY: ✨permission hereby GRANTED, have a good play and try some new things ✨ Now go forth and HAVE SOME CREATIVE PLAY 💫😉
