Don't worry about using Squishy and Doggies, and whatever other spirits you get. This is your first playthrough. Play how you want. If you want to do NG+,and THEN try to solo everything. If not...it's all good. The spirits look fun to use, because of their variety. I have no doubt in my mind that you could beat these things without help, but this game is a huge world. It could take forever...the first time around. Love the channel.
if it weren't for squishy, you'd be dead so I say go for it! The developer created the ability to summon him though make use of the tools kindly provided! It would be a shame not to use them! It was a very close fight and made the tension exciting!
I dont watch alot of your videos but im glad youre getting back into gaming... i remember the video you made about stopping gaming on the channel... keep up the good work💯🤌
Can't stand those "using summons is cheating" people. The devs implemented these mechanics for a reason, lmao. I say take advantage of everything the game presents to you!
I can't say for certain but I do feel like the Samurai is a very very good class. One you don't need to really change the weapons or armor on much at all. Plus coming with ranges weapon. Having a weapon that deals bleed out the gate is amazing.
I'm so happy I beat margit without a jellyfish summon or his shackle that nullifys his first phase. I didn't even know to use the jellyfish lol. Idk why it just makes me feel more accomplished. It took me like 25 minutes to beat him without summons. It was irritating. Not taking away from you're awesome fight tho. Awesome job!
Lol I love how everyone is complaining about Margit being too hard of a first boss. Then here comes Alyska getting him down to 1/4 HP just using wolf summons. No Margit shackles CUZ SHE KILLED PATCHES (he deserves it, patches always does lol) and she didn’t use the mage summon at the door either. It’s clearly cuz of her attitude and approach to the game. Like y’all just need to gitgud and not lose your patience like her
You can still get Margit shackles by giving Patches' bell bearing to the twin maidens in the Roundtable, where you can buy from his whole shop inventory
That jellyfish kill is the next best thing to Taurus Demon jumping back and falling to his death. Girls playing From Software games is twice as good at least... Watching them go from noobs to decent players is a hundred times better still Like you did, from catching all of Gundyr's hits to defeating the Nameless King. I salute you sis, keep at it
"hard to fight on horseback"? Nope, its WAAY easier to fight on horseback compared to fighting on foot. However I would recommend to not lock on to targets when fighting on horses because that seriously messes up the movement. 18:36 They are super easy - if you fight them on horseback. It's way harder to fight them on foot. If people watch this and ask themselves how to quickly grind a few levels in the early game - the soldiers in the ruins in front of the game award roughly 1000 runes and a run through that camp can easily be complete in less than 5 minutes without any danger. And because the site of grace is directly in frond of the gate and only a few steps away its also super quick to reset. And per run there's also usually 1-3 skulls spawning around the camp. Not to mention that the soldiers often drop weapons and armor which can be sold for 100 runes per piece (200 for the drops from the knight). And they also have a low chance of dropping tier 1 smithing stones. 35:00 Well - if you spare him he sells an item that makes the fight against Margit the Fell Omen way easier.
That area you found with the broken bridge and talked to the old lady was a path around the castle. You can skip Margit and Godrick if anyone finds them to difficult. I accidentally found this path today 😊 I'll go back and fight them later when I've leveled up some more.
maybe you did figure this out by now but just in case- you can do attacks on both sides of the horse with L1 and R1, and you can do a charged strong attack on both sides using L2 and R2. horse combat is easier/better when you get used to the variety of attacks.
Seems mages have a way easier time to level, I just blast the giants near Warmaster's Shack for 1000 runes each and they replenish your potions when they die. So about 8K per run, rest and repeat. Takes about 4 minutes.
My 2nd boss too I feel like there may be other bosses like optional I should fight first before him I dnt hv enough flasks other than that I’ll still be able to handle it
There's no wrong way to play the game, and thats where it's replayability comes from...anything else is only self imposed chalenges, no one cares if you don't use summons dude, chill, there are people who do all bosses with 0 hits taken.
By the way I getting a ps5 for my birthday so I will be getting the ring game and the dark souls games as well did u know that a plague tale 2 and hellblade senuas sacrifice 2 plus a new harry potter game also a new horizon dawn 2 game
I am gonna be honest with you, you shouldn´t feel guilty about using summons but I feel like you missed out on the fight, I don´t really know if I have ever had that much fun fighting a boss, like, for real, in my opinion it has been the best fight in all of the souls like that I have played, and you just beat him as if he was any random enemy
You should use summons. The game is intended to be played that way. I even use the gold npc summons. The fights are tailored to use them with it. You cant do godrick without the summons. I spent 2 hours beating Godrick. Wait till you meet him. I did Margit on my first try, agheel dragon on my first try. But godrick took me atleast 25 tries. Also melee builds are hard mode, intelliugence is easy mode because you can just stay away from boss and damage it from spells.
Besides Elden Ring there other great coming souls like Rpg game such as Final Fantasy Origin, Asterigos, Bleak Faith Forsaken and Shatered Tale of the Forgotten King
That Patches reaction was priceless! Absolutely made my day.
I spent a whole night trying to beat Margit when I now see that all I needed was to take him jellyfishing
You are weak for him😅
bro that jellyfish summon is the most op thing ever during bossfights, i tried it once and am using it ever since xD
I know wolves were shit against Godrick, jelly fish tanked so much for me. I beat godrick with the jellyfish. I upgraded the jelly fish as well.
@@GeekRaj does upgrading increase his hp and poison build up or just the damage his shots do?, i was hesitant to upgrade any spirits so far xD
Jellyfish and Wolves i think are hands down the best. Especually as you upgrade them.
No the best is mimic he turns into you and has whatever you have on. He can solo bosses with him at the right level and with the right equipment.
Also summons with shields are good they block attacks and last long enough for you to finish off the boss.
Don't worry about using Squishy and Doggies, and whatever other spirits you get. This is your first playthrough. Play how you want. If you want to do NG+,and THEN try to solo everything. If not...it's all good. The spirits look fun to use, because of their variety.

Love the channel.
Dude when I saw patches myself for the first time I WAS SCREAMING!
Prabobly one of the favorite cherecters in DS games.
That crossbow timing and the summoning of dogs was amazing 😭
34:45 Welp. Rip that quest line lol
Your reaction to Patches was pretty much how I reacted. It was hilarious when I found him in that cave and so unexpected.
if it weren't for squishy, you'd be dead so I say go for it! The developer created the ability to summon him though make use of the tools kindly provided! It would be a shame not to use them!
It was a very close fight and made the tension exciting!
Totally agree!!!
There's even more powerful summon next to the door(it brings out Sorcerer Rogier as co-operator) if you feel like you need more help.
@@Ruosteinenknight at the cost of boosting Margits health. No thanks
Arggggg.....when you carried on attacking Patches I actually shouted NO STOP!!!!!! at my laptop!
Good job on Margit, dude took me so many tries. I wish i knew all i had to do was use jellyfish xD
4 days and 1 shard bearer later and Elden Ring is still aweing me. I'm constantly stopping to say "whoah what's that???"
If I ever meet anyone named "Margit" I'm running in the opposite direction screaming for help
I dont watch alot of your videos but im glad youre getting back into gaming... i remember the video you made about stopping gaming on the channel... keep up the good work💯🤌
I always game, just over on twitch instead!
You get a cool quest from Patches if you accept his yield. Murderhobos miss out lol
You know sh!t is serious when she sorts out the seat lol
Can't stand those "using summons is cheating" people. The devs implemented these mechanics for a reason, lmao. I say take advantage of everything the game presents to you!
Man the bosses in the game probably punish the most for panic rolling
For real 😂
I can't say for certain but I do feel like the Samurai is a very very good class. One you don't need to really change the weapons or armor on much at all. Plus coming with ranges weapon. Having a weapon that deals bleed out the gate is amazing.
Warrior solos him and all honesty, i tried them all and it's on a whole another level compared to samurai
Y'all are batshit crazy to fight this guy so early at level 18 etc. Jellyfish is very clutch
Squishy the Jellyfish is the real MVP 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for posting this to YT, I'm looking forward to it!
thank you for watching!!
That victory cry when Margit died was genuine lol
I would feel no remorse over using a jellyfish against this boss. He's a bit of a bully.
57:29 I was LMAO 😂 Thank you Alyska 🤣🤣❤️
you should use the baldachin's blessing. it takes 5% of your hp away permanently while in the inventory. btw you did really well on the Margit.
You're not cheating. Spirirs are cool. Don't worry about the haters. It'll take quite a while to be as good as you. Thank you for your wonderful work.
5 hour stream and now an hour long video 🤯 we do be getting spoiled, thanks for all the content Alyce!!!

I enjoyed watching ur stream on twitch yesterday😀
Hey Alyska,
Alyska, from a year ago
like your videos and you
are great to watch and
Thank You.❤❤

People killing patches before they interact with him in each zone is a bit disappointing
love your gameplays!! such a great game

Could you imagine if with each attempt the Al in the enemy learned and adapted to your fighting style and changed its attacks and pattern of attacks
Ud be surprised, a lot of the enemies actually do use a progressive ai
If it's in the game to use people can't complain like that one comment said it's a mechanic of the game and meant to be used :)
That jellyfish definitely helped you alot lol. Without it if would of been alot more annoying.
That area you found with the broken bridge and talked to the old lady was a path around the castle. You can skip Margit and Godrick if anyone finds them to difficult. I accidentally found this path today 😊 I'll go back and fight them later when I've leveled up some more.

Hi. Thanks for uploading this awesome gameplay video. I love your content because it's so amazing, and I really enjoy watching your videos.
This game is 🔥🔥 love the video Alyska stay motivated Dream big 1 mill on the way

The Round Table, it's a silly place.
It's cool I used the NPC summon so don't feel guilty.
Spirit Ashes and other player Spirits are completely different in my opinion. People mad about people using spirit Ashes are dumb.
She did much better on her first attempt than I did
Technically, Margit the fell omen is an optional boss, but explaining why would be spoiling.
you need to press X/Square to see what the cookbooks give you
nice vid girl, you're one of my favorite souls player.
thank you so much!
Jellyfish baby is precious and powerful

Patches!!!! Haha good stuff
Best way to unmount from the horse is tu push the left stick :)
Who is patches? is he in other games like dark souls??
Patches gave you a plus 7 weapon put that shit on!!!!
1:09:57 jellyfish is very good
This game is amazing
I killed patches in 2 games, only to realize that I need him for the bull goat armor. Spared him in NG+2
Her reaction to patches lmaoooo
Quite the interesting play style
Margit took me way more tries than he took you but Jelly was my winning strat too ♥️
The finger situation in this game is quite dire... Your finger please (pleasuring sounds) 🤣🤣🤣 this finger thing reminds me of High School DXD
You should use your summoning more Alyska. Also.. Try to upgrade your weapon and armor with the smithing stone that you collect
Bro, shes a soulsbourne vet, you dont need to tell her she needs to upgrade her gear 😂
She used summoning loads in this episode, and has also already levelled her armour up and her weapon already lmao
Samurai does lots of damage early game relatively. She melted through his HP when his 2nd phase was activated
Love your videos. You play the way you want. Be true to you. Ignore the people who think they have a right to tell you how to do something.
Alyska your the best
My 2nd boss too I feel like there may be other bosses like optional I should fight first before him I dnt hv enough flasks other than that I’ll still be able to handle it
Keep it up Alyce. You're the best.
You didn't cheat Alyce lol. I used the Wolves on him and beat him in 2 tries muy self. Was a level or two higher
Hi alyska I love you play through you so funny and sweet and kind keep up with the good work and keep happy x
Wow really nice 😄
Why she isnt using the horse to jump
I died like a million times to kuffing margit. You did it on 2nd attempt. 😶 That's my first souls game though. Gonna try with jellyfish next time 🔜
YOU SHOULD FEEL BAD, patches did not deserve it
I’m not even hungry lol
There's no wrong way to play the game, and thats where it's replayability comes from...anything else is only self imposed chalenges, no one cares if you don't use summons dude, chill, there are people who do all bosses with 0 hits taken.
what the!? why'd he take so long to switch to 2nd phase! the trigger is around 60-70% health!
self summons must be OP
I almost killed Margit on my first try. Got him down to 1% health, then died, and then it took 10 tries. Wtf?
dobry wieczór i miłego grania :))))
Wtf happens at 1:09:12?
Blood loss from bleed buildup thanks to the Uchigatana's passive effect
@@adamparker43 oh cool. That made a huge difference.
