A friend lent me this cassette when we were kids. It was eye opening to say the least. Awesome cover!
Yeah that was a favorite jam of ours back in high school. I just wanted to see if I could play those 16th notes.
Haven't heard this on like twenty years. Thank you.
Just need to rep the ups and down patterns with the right grip. This is such a fun onnnee! Once you get your thrash on that's all ya need!
👍👍👍👍👍👍🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
MINISTRY ..THANKS EVERYTHING!!
Can you do Fascist Jock Itch by Skinny Puppy?
Downstrokes, man! Downstrokes!
Hahahah if I could do that, I would be able to warp time!
@@GuitarWizardGuild Just takes some practice to build up the muscles. It can be done, because I can do it. Hehe. ;) Keep in mind I’m not talking about the riff at the start. That most definitely needs to be played with alternate picking. But the other riff when the song goes double time can be played with all downstrokes. What’s funny is for years I thought it was downstrokes and that’s how I tried to play it. My wrist would get fatigued before halfway through the song and I’d get disappointed. But I thought for sure they were playing it that way so I kept at it and kept at it. After two or three weeks I made it through the whole song. And it was so much fun. Hehe. And then years later I finally see footage of live performances of the song and they’re doing it with alternate picking. “Ah, damn it! Hahahahl Anyway, it is possible. Hehe. I think one of my earlier downpicking goals helped, which was the Anthrax album Among The Living. That’s a real workout, too. I’m not sure, but I’m guessing that as I tried to go faster and faster I may have also figured out how to be more efficient in the movement in order to actually be able to do it that fast for that long. But it definitely takes a while to build up those muscles so that they have that much stamina. Much respect to Scott Ian and James Hetfield for their downpicking madness.
@@ClaytonMacleod that double time part you mentioned tricked me alot while trying to learn it. When i listened to the record version i could swear it’s played with 16th notes like 0000 01 0000 03 , so i practiced it that way until i could play it completely and realised it wasn’t right.
The other thing about the double time I couldn’t get right , was hitting that 1st fret power chord break before going back to the main riff , its always a gamble whether (or not) i hit it on time.
Are you accepting new students?
This is sick.. well done
Well I guess I know how to play this now sounds some much harder then it is still a great song tho
Best ever!
you have the tablature?
0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0 1 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000
