  • Yeah - I know my camera lens sucks. Hopefully soon I can upgrade.
    This video subject covers how aspiring home distillers can make a quality rum that tastes like it is molasses based but is basically a sugar wash. Its not as straight forward as all that - but take a look and you will see what I mean

    Luckily for me I live within spitting distance of a Sugar Mill. 🙂

      Agh lucky! Do you also get access to cane juice? I'd love to make an Agricole style rum

      Im in Far North Queensland surrounded by Sugar Cane and Bananas.

      That's so awesome. I've heard the juice starts wild fermenting on the way home. Sounds like an interesting ingredient

      @@unOrigiNik Yes you can buy freshly squeezed cane juice from the Sunday Farmers Market.
      Old Mate will squeeze the Sugar Cane for you while you wait. 🙂👍
