You are the best instructor on the internet for quilting. I have searched high and low to find a video, that I could understand, for cutting a 60° diamond. Thank you and Happy New Year 2024🎉!

I love it when someone can show us how to use the rulers we already have. Rulers are expensive these days, so it is nice to learn to use what we have.

Thank you so very much. You just, without showing :) showed me how to make the diamond block in the quilt, Storm at Sea. I have been looking so much around and only found special ruler or paper prizing or odd measurements, you make it so easy , just make another diamond 1 inch bigger than your center diamond and cut from top to bottom and from right to left , and I had perfect sides for my diamond, with my normal ruler. So happy

When you can’t buy a template for every every shape you want to cut, it’s great to know how to use what you already have, thanks.

This is like old timely home ec in high school. Before we had $30+ rulers, some nice teacher taught us how to do without them (mainly bc they didn't exist!).

Putting diamond shapes together to form a quilt block is my nemesis. I, for one, look forward to your series on cutting & using the tools we already have without having to run out & buy a specialty ruler to do so. I also look forward to learning the technique on sewing diamond shapes together. You are an excellent teacher, I hv followed & liked your videos for quiet sometime, I always look forward to a new one. Thank you for your willingness to share your talents to each of us, I have learned so much from you. 💖
