They didn’t make it cringe by making a characters talk I really appreciate that they made the video nice and short and they put the update out literally the second the video came out I have no complaints nothing but my respect inner sloth!

I don't understand what people even have against cosmetics behind paywalls (which wouldn't even be a new concept in this game). It's just cosmetics, it's not like it'll give you advantages in the game. So if devs want to make money, that's easily the best way to do so. If you want it, you can pay for it. But no one is forcing you to and you probably need to do it only once to get the one you really want to use. If they lock roles or gamemodes behind paywalls, then I might be a bit annoyed. But this is totally fine.
Sure, the feature itself is okay, that's just the unbearable wait just to finaly get an update with barely few of the roles actually invented by community mod and those microtransactions. I would really like to give some of my money to Innersloth if in return they would promise to deliver us more updates and a lot faster than they actually are doing, I know they want to keep their team small, but that's not okay for one of the most popular games of the past years, they're just deceiving their public by the way they continue to treat their own game like a small unknown game it was before....

And when games like Fortnite does it wayy to much, there is just a crazy amount of cosmetics that doesn‘t even get used but to fill the space in the battlepass, which will quickly die with the next season pass.

Innersloth are 5 guys whose only experience is a series of flash videos of a stick man. Also, some of the roles seem pretty original. Scientist and Guardian Angel don't sound like something I've seen in community mods (ok, Guardian does sound a bit like a Medic, but it has a very distinct difference)

May not be a fan of Among Us anymore, but I'm tempted to get back into the fray with this new update. Also, animation was pretty funny and really well made!
I've been playing this game since 2019, it's my favorite game, I love playing it to pass the time, relax, distract myself. for me this game is a therapy that cost 10R$. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for creating something so perfect, and I'm so happy you guys finally get the recognition you deserve.

I think they might have hired a few more than just 6, but Innersloth definitely has a *lot lot less* employees than other game companies.

This is why I love you Innersloth. Even after players decreased, you still update your games to the max level, and even make an animal about your updates.
The new roles are so Interesting! And also, rewarding the players for doing the task will make them not leave the server for being a crewmate. Just wanna say that this update is amazing ^^
Oh my God, these roles will be absolutely insane! I'd say the Scentist and Engineer will probably offer fairly small gameplay changes, they're essentially crewmates with bonus characteristics. The Guardian Angel and SHAPESHIFTER however? Among Us will be a lot more interesting, and I'm so excited to be challenged. I love this game dearly, and this premiere was wonderful.

After playing a bit, Engineer is huge. You can fix both parts of gap sabotage on airship by venting to the other side. You can also use the vents to stealthily observe the impostors or even to escape them!
Glad we can set the chance of roles, so we can play Normal and new. I personally like the Engineer, it's fair with a timer. Good use for when you wanna be quick to Reactor, so you vent in either engine room to fix it. And you can use that as an advantage as a Shapeshifter, to make them seem like an imposter
When I saw that the engineer could use vents, this is the situation I thought about: “GUYS ITS RED” “how” “HE VENTED VOTE HIM OUT” “bruh im an engineer” “yeah sure” **voting noises** *Red was not the impostor.*
I always thought of a role that allowed someone to seal a vent shut, and that it can only be reopened by impostor on top of it finishing a simple opening task.
- Beans let you buy stuff - Stars let you by stuff (microtransaction edition) - Pods give you more stuff to buy - *XP gives you A BIG NUMBER* Seriously though, good additions, but the Roles were definitely the best ones! These are so cool! They're bound to make the game more interesting! I just hope it doesn't unbalance it too badly.

Roles are broken unfortunaly,engi breaks the logic of reporting imp if vent,scientist is so op that literally he can clear ppl just by seeing thw moment of death of each crew,guardian angel is just annoying since it delays the imp actions in a unnecessary way making ppl ignore the main goal oaf the crew,that is do tasks which can be a fun killer if you hold tasks
Hey, at least they're upfront about it. Unlike some other studios, who hide it as much as possible until release, which is pretty scummy. Plus, they do need to make money, and they'll use it to make even more stuff, so I'd argue it's fair. The mobile version is still free, so it's more understandable there. Not so sure on the PC version tho, which is paid, but it isn't expensive, so there's also that. It's still leagues better than what EA does.
Other games: we want to add microtransactions to make the game have more progression and fairness and having a challenge (Inferior) Among us: this is only to get money isn't it? Yup (Superior)

Oh my God, these roles will be absolutely insane! I'd say the Scentist and Engineer will probably offer fairly small gameplay changes, they're essentially crewmates with bonus characteristics. The Guardian Angel and SHAPESHIFTER however? Among Us will be a lot more interesting, and I'm so excited to be challenged. I love this game dearly, and this premiere was wonderful.

@@Danodan94 One way to be vindicated is when venting allows engineer to bypass locked doors, and reach emergency button very quickly.
After playing a bit, Engineer is huge. You can fix both parts of gap sabotage on airship by venting to the other side. You can also use the vents to stealthily observe the impostors or even to escape them!

I personally like the Engineer, it's fair with a timer.
Good use for when you wanna be quick to Reactor, so you vent in either engine room to fix it.
And you can use that as an advantage as a Shapeshifter, to make them seem like an imposter

I always thought of a role that allowed someone to seal a vent shut, and that it can only be reopened by impostor on top of it finishing a simple opening task.

The specifics of the roles are adjustable. Say, how long a shapeshifter can stay in disguise, cooldown between vent use, etc.

Roles are broken unfortunaly,engi breaks the logic of reporting imp if vent,scientist is so op that literally he can clear ppl just by seeing thw moment of death of each crew,guardian angel is just annoying since it delays the imp actions in a unnecessary way making ppl ignore the main goal oaf the crew,that is do tasks which can be a fun killer if you hold tasks

Hey, at least they're upfront about it. Unlike some other studios, who hide it as much as possible until release, which is pretty scummy.
Plus, they do need to make money, and they'll use it to make even more stuff, so I'd argue it's fair. The mobile version is still free, so it's more understandable there. Not so sure on the PC version tho, which is paid, but it isn't expensive, so there's also that.
It's still leagues better than what EA does.
