Varkala Tourist Places Vlog covers the best places to visit in Varkala. Starting from Varkala Beach and Varkala Cliff, in this vlog we visit Paravur Mangrove Forest.

Varkala Cliff is our first destination in this vlog - we visited and took a tour of the cliff which is lined with a plethora of cafes, restaurants, resorts, hotels and shops. Varkala Cliff is the most happening and scenic place in Varkala.
The second destination is the Darjeeling cafe - which is the most happening cafe in Varkala. Darjeeling Cafe offers the best views of the Varkala beach, especially during the sunset in the evening. The food and the ambience are extremely delightful. Do try their Buddha Bowl.
Paravur Mangrove Forest was our third destination in the Varkala Vlog. We went to Paravur Mangrove Forest to try kayaking in the mangroves. It’s definitely a must-try in Varkala. We did this activity with a company called Paravur Mangrove Adventures. It’s a 10 on 10 and a highly recommended experience.
Jatayu Earth’s Centre is our forth destination in the Varkala Vlog Part 1. Jatayu Earth’s Centre has become the most famous attraction in Varkala Kerala. You can witness the largest bird statue in the world here and can only access this place through a cable car ride.

Is this mangrove kayaking recommended if we have 2 days in varkala on our honeymoon?
Umm m not sure. It's takes almost the whole day. So you will be left with only one day in Varkala. Just spare one more day for kayaking 😊😁

Thank you Yogita. Best time is between October to March. I went in end of May though. It’s hot in May but not that bad as Monsoon starts in May end. 😄

I dont want to stay at varkala but would like to visit mangrove forest village and jatayu earth centre while leaving from trivendram and going towards allapuzza. Is it possible?
Hi, kayaking in mangrove will need minimum 4 hours n Jatayu needs 3 to 4 hours. Both these places are in Kollam. It’s better you plan one day in Kollam n finish these two things. Jayatu in morning and Paravur in evening. 😃
The mangrove island is in Mundro island. Varkala, Mundro all have railway stations too.

Hey this was in the month of May. 😀 just before monsoon or you can say early monsoon. As it started raining towards the end of my trip.

@@dhirajsingh1573 the climate was on the hot side but not as hot as March April. After 3 or 4 pm it’s nice n pleasant. Kayaking was not that hectic. It’s manageable. We enjoyed kayaking a lot. If you are doing for the first time, consider 2 people’s kayak instead of single. 😁
