I'm a medical marijuana patient in FL US. I used to think high THC was the most important thing and I have learned that couldn't be any further from the truth. I've smoked it all from the brick weed and "crippy" of the 90's to today's Runtz, Petrol Station, TK, ICC, Gelato etc. If numbers are important than the right ones are your cannabinoid spread and your terps. I've found that some stuff is great at high THC but for the most part I'm shooting 20-25% w/ a 2.5%+ in terps and a nice spread of 2-8% in additional cannabinoids. This is my personal pref though. I have some in the low 30% right here next to me and it's only ok, has no legs.

Not exactly. I smoke high % carts and thc. 25 and above. I have to smoke a lot of 15-20% to get what i do from higher thc flower. Terps are important but only so far.
My 25%+ strains all mop the floor with anything I've tried at the 15-20% range. It might not be everything but if you wanna get stuck to the couch you want that high thc.

I’ve smoked 30% that obv slapped but didn’t last as long as some low 20s. Nearly every big grower will say Thc is over rated. There’s much more to selecting the right strain. Trich colour will totally change the effect and strength just on its own.

It's about to be legal in your country...it's already legal in Malta and Luxembourg for recreational adult use but they are some of the smaller country in EU (But I believe European union is about to collapse soon as most of the French people want a Frexit and it seems like Nederland wants to live eu too with what happened in Italy they talk about Italexit some in Germany too...!)when Germany will change laws to include cannabis in it because it's a big country and because tchek republic will follow soon maybe Spain too the European union will have to adjust a few laws and rules because there's no borders and no restrictions in terms of commercial exchange (France tried to reduce the amount of tobacco you can buy from other European countries someone went to the European justice court and won so now instead of one cartridge of cigarettes we are allowed to buy 4 like every other EU citizens...it's not the best fight of course as tobacco is very unhealthy and even dangerous especially here in France where young people consume hash with a lot of unfiltered tobacco that's the only issu with cannabis consumption!) So Germany will open a door for all the other countries as European union will make cannabis legal and regulated...a good excuse to legalize and put it on EU If it is the case I will thanks German people for ever!!! I wanna say even with the best of the best strains like Wedding cake, Runtz or Banana butter cups. 30% thc is like 1 in 20. And the high testers will usually herm on you for the meme and produce seeds and lower yeilds.

Yes, tolerance breaks always helps, so in 2 weeks it goes down and you go over again and it feels as if for the first time, and yes, you could regard as as a miracle plant, in which tobacco cigarettes tolerance is never reversible and it will never feel the same as the first time the way i felt incredibly and also there was a time i smoked pure tobacco out of bong, in either way i could instantly develop emphysema and chronchisi bronchitis and it wouldn't necessarily be reversible, i've done it once, i've read somewhere "for tobacco use only' and did it either way regardless of being told it's only for weed and based on my freedom of chose , i went on my either way around and did it and nearly lost consciousness but it feeling good didn't necessarily mean there wouldn't be consequences, back then in 2016 when it was illegal and then this year i started playing around with Salvia divinorum and demolished entire one gram of it which luckily wasn't a concentrate and out of bong either way.@@PickleThePig
another thing to note that if you are constantly stoned and not taking breaks the effect of different strains get clouded and you are not fully experiencing the strain and noticing the differences, as we know the tolerance of people that are always stoned is really high so you can end up having different strains and you don't really feel a difference, if you take a two week+ break from it and then go back its almost like the first time you smoked again.
@@Barney-ii1no It's not necessarily predictable from strain to strain, if they do these cross genetics you gave a different variety of strains that will grow larger and larger in margin which may have variable effects, but tobacco cigarettes the effects are always predictable and plain simply do not serve any purpose, i quit everything cold turkey, having a predisposition to psychosis, it is better to exercise caution, either way around things such as astral projections can be enhanced with Lavender Tea and other herbal extracts with medical properties. Alcohol as well, does not serve much purpose, if you're not used to drinking don't do at all, one glass of wine once a week is forgivable. Either way around, when something like that is regulated worldwide for recreational purposes, medical patients with extreme pains following fibromyalgia can have it immediately prescribed as oil, inhalation through vapor and even in pre-roll from family doctor, that's it, the rest of psychedelics , they're a bit too much.

My husband and I grow our own here in Canada 🇨🇦 since it became federally legal here in 2018 , we usually get our seeds from BC or England through the mail and the seeds that we get from England are actually way better then the ones from BC they gave us the best weed . We would like to find out what THC percentage the buds are and I even make my own edibles from it . We even live right next to a dispensary here .
This is so interesting to watch as a west coast Canada resident because you'd be hard pressed to find weed here that's being sold with less than 25% THC. I have no idea how accurate that is, but when I'm buying bud the average marketed value is usually between 30-32%THC. I would be curious to see what these kinds of tests would yield on our stuff- I know the growing culture is alive and strong with farmers doing multi-generational strains to get the highest potency possible, but comparatively to other strains from around the world ours seems distinctly strong. THC percentage doesn’t really matter too much. You can get some fire 23% with the right terps rather than some hydrowash 30% that just gives you a headache
Just to piggy back off these two.... they also hand pick the best buds off the plant to test and tend to go to labs which give out the highest percentage..... its always good to find which terp profile is best for you and not rely on thc percentage

I agree, but Dutch people dont understand, and all their joints taste like tabacco anyway so they dont care eithe way. The coffee shops have a lot of stale crappy weed that tastes like nothing and only has THC and the high is really crappy compared to good weed
@@wakenow1 the problem isnt that its old weed, most bud in the Netherlands gets grown on coco coir with very basic nutrients and dried in addics where theyre grown in without any curing by random people who want to make a quick buck. I've seen it with my own two eyes and have had offers of dudes who sold it to coffeeshops when i used to grow but i didnt want to scale it up. Most of the weed dealers sell is the exact same weed that goes to coffeeshops if its "good enough" which most coffeeshops dont care about at all they will just sell it as White Widow or Powerplant if the quality is less. Its extremely unregulated and left into the hands of either criminals or anyone willing to sell it or grow it. So there is definitely a good chance a portion of it is old CBN rich weed but there is literally no telling unless you test it. Sorry for the rant it really riles me up lol Edit:grammar

Haze is light smoke. But that I mean the smoke itself is light and smooth feeling, you could take a hige hit of a bong from it. Not like other weeds that are very skunky,
Hes probably bored of it because hes from london, we smoked it for years because it was pretty much the only thing that was about, unlike nowadays there's different flavours everywhere. Plus, I think haze is usually a bit plain and dull compared to gelatos/ kushes / zkittles / cookies / dawg, which all all have strong flavour usually

Government insists on them tests but they are stupid tbh. Weed isn’t like alcohol as dif parts of the same plant test different levels.
Dispensaries usually grow hundreds of plants and test for the highest ones. They dont always have the best flavor or in some cases, yield. But generally, it's not uncommon for dispensaries to achieve high thc testing. Thats what they breed for because thats what people see when looking at the menu.
As someone from Oregon, the best state in the world for weed. We have the best bud and the best prices we don’t do none of that pre packaged $60 8th bullshit. Almost no sales tax and they weigh the bud fresh from a jar and package it right in front of you into plastic medicine bottles no Mylar plastic packages here. Sometimes they give you glass jars. Top shelf 8ths are $20 tax included. This is cool but if you’re shopping for bud based on THC numbers you’re a noob. A lot of the high thc strains suck cause that’s all the people shoot for is high thc number in a lab. When I shop I look for high terp percentages, smell, look etc. the thc percentage is the last thing I look at. I’ve had some super good buds that were only 15-17% they smelled looked and smoked great. It’s all about terps. A concentrate with 65-75% THC with a high terp percent like 10-20% are always the best.

Percentages mean nothing, it’s about terpene profiles, pesticides, how it’s grow and where etc. percentages are just numbers (obv you don’t want low testing %) but it overall doesn’t matter if it’s grown correct
The ones with high THC and CBD in too, will be auto flower bud. Edit: The one that tested 25% THC and 4% CBD. I really like percentages like this, the higher CBD along with the THC hits really well to relax.

It does mean something but also it is not the overall of what cannabis offers there are many other cannabinoids that create the overall effect as well as the terpene profile seems to have something to do with it as well. This is why you can smoke some stuff that is like 30% thc with very few additional cannabinoids and stuff that is 18‐20% and overall cannabinoids at like 25-27% and the stuff with the lower thc will make you feel higher for longer. I have heard of it referred to as the entourage effect.
Honestly im currently Smoking on some bud that is 1:1 CBD/THC with not more than 15% probably closer to 10% and its amazing. THC is not all this plant has to offer and many people are sadly forgetting that.

In the US each state is different. In Florida we have medical marijuana and they just wrote a new law that says they're going to cap flower at 30% THC. Considering that flower is just now occasionally getting up to 32% THC here, because of that, most people don't really care about that limit yet however, the way the new FL law is written it says marijuana and marijuana products, which means the paranoid non-doctor lawmakers soon ARE going to be reading that wording to mean capping our concentrates as well at 30% THC max because that is what the letter of the law says and that's what paranoid anti THC people WILL do when they read the letter of the law is get technically pety. I see a lot of people speaking against concentrates saying we need to outlaw concentrates because they are scared of what they think concentrated means. People somehow believe that concentrates means getting stronger and stronger and stronger but it's just like frozen orange juice, you can take the water and the unneeded mass out but you can't get it more concentrated than that. The new FL law reads THC cap on a single gummy is 10 mg THC and the cap on an entire bag is 300 mg per bag. 300mg is less than my single oral dose. THC fact: two identical twins with the same ailments might have dozens and dozens of times difference of level of THC need/tolerance to get the same effect however, paranoid non-doctor lawmakers are affraid because they have heard about people ignorantly taking to much THC so they want to "prevent" that type of 'mistake" by limiting everyone to a dose that the lowest tolerance that SOME people have. My doctor keeps increasing my oral dosage (titrating) slowly to find out what my appropriate oral dosage should be but I have not yet ingested enough oral cannabis to feel its effects I have never felt the effects of oral cannabis because we have not reached that minimum level yet for me at a 375mg dose. By the new law, that would equal more than an entire bag of gummies for each dose for me. My doctor and I are trying to figure if I need to take one pill or two pills or three pills of what mg each because our medical cannabis capsules come in a variety of strengths depending on what the individual patients needs are but the new law will cause me to take a few dozen low THC pills rather than just 2 or 3 high mg pills, according to the requirements of this new law. It means: instead of smoking .75 grams to 1.25 grams of flower in the mourning, that now I will have to start smoking significantly more cannabis flower to get the same dosage I've been using for the past 8 years. their new pointless law will put my lung health at greater risk to satisfy the paranoid non-doctor law makers. It means because we already have a limit of 2 1/2 oz of smokable flower per patient per 35 day period in Florida, that I will reach my legal purchase limit of how much cannabis I'm allowed to buy in the month before I get my existing dose need fulfilment completed. I really like this THC measuring tool. It can help keep some of our needed THC from being trapped away from a portion of our meds. by allowing us to avoid lower THC strains when we get more of these arbitrary paranoid limits placed on aspects of the system by paranoid non doctor medical--law makers.

It's about to be legal in your country...it's already legal in Malta and Luxembourg for recreational adult use but they are some of the smaller country in EU (But I believe European union is about to collapse soon as most of the French people want a Frexit and it seems like Nederland wants to live eu too with what happened in Italy they talk about Italexit some in Germany too...!)when Germany will change laws to include cannabis in it because it's a big country and because tchek republic will follow soon maybe Spain too the European union will have to adjust a few laws and rules because there's no borders and no restrictions in terms of commercial exchange (France tried to reduce the amount of tobacco you can buy from other European countries someone went to the European justice court and won so now instead of one cartridge of cigarettes we are allowed to buy 4 like every other EU citizens...it's not the best fight of course as tobacco is very unhealthy and even dangerous especially here in France where young people consume hash with a lot of unfiltered tobacco that's the only issu with cannabis consumption!)

Yes, tolerance breaks always helps, so in 2 weeks it goes down and you go over again and it feels as if for the first time, and yes, you could regard as as a miracle plant, in which tobacco cigarettes tolerance is never reversible and it will never feel the same as the first time the way i felt incredibly and also there was a time i smoked pure tobacco out of bong, in either way i could instantly develop emphysema and chronchisi bronchitis and it wouldn't necessarily be reversible, i've done it once, i've read somewhere "for tobacco use only' and did it either way regardless of being told it's only for weed and based on my freedom of chose , i went on my either way around and did it and nearly lost consciousness but it feeling good didn't necessarily mean there wouldn't be consequences, back then in 2016 when it was illegal and then this year i started playing around with Salvia divinorum and demolished entire one gram of it which luckily wasn't a concentrate and out of bong either way.@@PickleThePig
another thing to note that if you are constantly stoned and not taking breaks the effect of different strains get clouded and you are not fully experiencing the strain and noticing the differences, as we know the tolerance of people that are always stoned is really high so you can end up having different strains and you don't really feel a difference, if you take a two week+ break from it and then go back its almost like the first time you smoked again.
@@Barney-ii1no It's not necessarily predictable from strain to strain, if they do these cross genetics you gave a different variety of strains that will grow larger and larger in margin which may have variable effects, but tobacco cigarettes the effects are always predictable and plain simply do not serve any purpose, i quit everything cold turkey, having a predisposition to psychosis, it is better to exercise caution, either way around things such as astral projections can be enhanced with Lavender Tea and other herbal extracts with medical properties. Alcohol as well, does not serve much purpose, if you're not used to drinking don't do at all, one glass of wine once a week is forgivable. Either way around, when something like that is regulated worldwide for recreational purposes, medical patients with extreme pains following fibromyalgia can have it immediately prescribed as oil, inhalation through vapor and even in pre-roll from family doctor, that's it, the rest of psychedelics , they're a bit too much.

My husband and I grow our own here in Canada 🇨🇦 since it became federally legal here in 2018 , we usually get our seeds from BC or England through the mail and the seeds that we get from England are actually way better then the ones from BC they gave us the best weed . We would like to find out what THC percentage the buds are and I even make my own edibles from it . We even live right next to a dispensary here .

This is so interesting to watch as a west coast Canada resident because you'd be hard pressed to find weed here that's being sold with less than 25% THC. I have no idea how accurate that is, but when I'm buying bud the average marketed value is usually between 30-32%THC. I would be curious to see what these kinds of tests would yield on our stuff- I know the growing culture is alive and strong with farmers doing multi-generational strains to get the highest potency possible, but comparatively to other strains from around the world ours seems distinctly strong. Love the content, keep it up!!
THC percentage doesn’t really matter too much. You can get some fire 23% with the right terps rather than some hydrowash 30% that just gives you a headache

Just to piggy back off these two.... they also hand pick the best buds off the plant to test and tend to go to labs which give out the highest percentage..... its always good to find which terp profile is best for you and not rely on thc percentage

I've seen it with my own two eyes and have had offers of dudes who sold it to coffeeshops when i used to grow but i didnt want to scale it up.
Most of the weed dealers sell is the exact same weed that goes to coffeeshops if its "good enough" which most coffeeshops dont care about at all they will just sell it as White Widow or Powerplant if the quality is less.
Its extremely unregulated and left into the hands of either criminals or anyone willing to sell it or grow it.
So there is definitely a good chance a portion of it is old CBN rich weed but there is literally no telling unless you test it.

Plus, I think haze is usually a bit plain and dull compared to gelatos/ kushes / zkittles / cookies / dawg, which all all have strong flavour usually

Government insists on them tests but they are stupid tbh. Weed isn’t like alcohol as dif parts of the same plant test different levels.
Dispensaries usually grow hundreds of plants and test for the highest ones. They dont always have the best flavor or in some cases, yield. But generally, it's not uncommon for dispensaries to achieve high thc testing. Thats what they breed for because thats what people see when looking at the menu.

As someone from Oregon, the best state in the world for weed. We have the best bud and the best prices we don’t do none of that pre packaged $60 8th bullshit. Almost no sales tax and they weigh the bud fresh from a jar and package it right in front of you into plastic medicine bottles no Mylar plastic packages here. Sometimes they give you glass jars. Top shelf 8ths are $20 tax included. This is cool but if you’re shopping for bud based on THC numbers you’re a noob. A lot of the high thc strains suck cause that’s all the people shoot for is high thc number in a lab. When I shop I look for high terp percentages, smell, look etc. the thc percentage is the last thing I look at. I’ve had some super good buds that were only 15-17% they smelled looked and smoked great. It’s all about terps. A concentrate with 65-75% THC with a high terp percent like 10-20% are always the best.

It does mean something but also it is not the overall of what cannabis offers there are many other cannabinoids that create the overall effect as well as the terpene profile seems to have something to do with it as well. This is why you can smoke some stuff that is like 30% thc with very few additional cannabinoids and stuff that is 18‐20% and overall cannabinoids at like 25-27% and the stuff with the lower thc will make you feel higher for longer. I have heard of it referred to as the entourage effect.

I'm surprised at the prices!! In Colorado, medical prices for the best strains are currently about $140US.
In the US each state is different. In Florida we have medical marijuana and they just wrote a new law that says they're going to cap flower at 30% THC.
Considering that flower is just now occasionally getting up to 32% THC here, because of that, most people don't really care about that limit yet however, the way the new FL law is written it says marijuana and marijuana products,
which means the paranoid non-doctor lawmakers soon ARE going to be reading that wording to mean capping our concentrates as well at 30% THC max
because that is what the letter of the law says
and that's what paranoid anti THC people WILL do when they read the letter of the law is get technically pety.
I see a lot of people speaking against concentrates saying we need to outlaw concentrates because they are scared of what they think concentrated means.
People somehow believe that concentrates means getting stronger and stronger and stronger but it's just like frozen orange juice, you can take the water and the unneeded mass out but you can't get it more concentrated than that.
The new FL law reads THC cap on a single gummy is 10 mg THC
and the cap on an entire bag is 300 mg per bag.
300mg is less than my single oral dose.
THC fact: two identical twins with the same ailments might have dozens and dozens of times difference of level of THC need/tolerance to get the same effect however, paranoid non-doctor lawmakers are affraid because they have heard about people ignorantly taking to much THC
so they want to "prevent" that type of 'mistake" by limiting everyone to a dose that the lowest tolerance that SOME people have.
My doctor keeps increasing my oral dosage (titrating) slowly to find out what my appropriate oral dosage should be but I have not yet ingested enough oral cannabis to feel its effects I have never felt the effects of oral cannabis because we have not reached that minimum level yet for me at a 375mg dose.
By the new law, that would equal more than an entire bag of gummies for each dose for me.

It means: instead of smoking .75 grams to 1.25 grams of flower in the mourning, that now I will have to start smoking significantly more cannabis flower to get the same dosage I've been using for the past 8 years.

It means because we already have a limit of 2 1/2 oz of smokable flower per patient per 35 day period in Florida, that I will reach my legal purchase limit of how much cannabis I'm allowed to buy in the month before I get my existing dose need fulfilment completed.
I really like this THC measuring tool. It can help keep some of our needed THC from being trapped away from a portion of our meds.
