if Virtue didn't sue Black Zebra, SEGA would have as they have owned the Virtua Sports franchise for decades. Virtua Racing, Virtua Tennis, etc. It was stupid of Black Zebra to not do any research before coming up with the name. Quick Google search would have told them that this already exists as a video game name.
Black Zebra already backed down and renamed it to just Paintballers. You have to wonder if they did all this on purpose to drum up publicity.
I mean probably not, Paintballers is never going to be even remotely a popular game. And it would have never even grabbed the attention of Sega. They could care less about some small non-competitive game.
You deff reaching bro😂, drum up publicity to who? The entire 2000 people that are gonna play the game lmao. You do realize how small paintball actually is right? Lol, and zebra also never fought virtue on name change. Virtue wanted a payday & once it backfired in the community they dropped suit.
Playing the beta last night, it's okay, the fact that the core of the gameplay is still not as good at this stage as GHPB2 was back on the PS3 is disappointing.
I'm sure it will get there, but Black Zebra needs to focus more on the gameplay and movement.
