On the living abroad comment you've made during your video and I can say that I've lived in California for 9 months and I agree that living abroad is nowhere near out of reach as most people think. I have since come back to London due to the fact that I only went out to California for love and that my late girlfriend I went to live with has since died. It was quite heartbreaking, but I'm bodging my heart up bit by bit.

I never lived in England, but I did spend a couple of years at a British boarding school in South India. I had no idea how much it influenced the way I talked until I came back to Canada.
I didn't think anyone else had the same levels of anxiety as I about certain things. It took me years to get to a place where I could order at a coffee/food counter without a minor panic about being on the spot. I also experience second hand embarrassment for show characters. As an aside, has having to watch yourself (e.g., when editing) changed your perception of yourself in any way? I know there's this whole self-confidence activity that involves listening to yourself back, and most of us find our own voices unnerving when we initially hear it, but maybe you've kinda got used to it.
Having been here since double digit days, I've always enjoyed the random and light-hearted theme to this. And, we're opposite in that she's moved to Britain from Ontario, and I'm here now (having roots/family) from England. This is just like watching my favorite thing having a good time and enjoying things.. And I appreciate the break it affords me from the 'day2day' of life. Hope your getting on okay.. Starbucks (even though I love it) really heightens my anxiety every time (even worse with friends) and I get a lot of second hand embarrassment (some movies I can't wait either). Second hand embarrassment - oh my word. I went to a stand up comedy gig once and one of the comedians bombed. It was 5 years ago and I still get anxiety attacks about it. Never going to another one.
Ontario sunny? That tells me how cloudy England is. I live in Florida where it really is sunny every day and I usually cannot wait to be back from the places I visit, almost all of which are more cloudy. You are not wrong. The entire world loves and respects Canadians.

Woop, you answered my one (about being private), thanks! I totally get it, I wouldn't want strangers to know who my partner is etc. etc. Good to keep that air of mystery. As an aside, has having to watch yourself (e.g., when editing) changed your perception of yourself in any way? I know there's this whole self-confidence activity that involves listening to yourself back, and most of us find our own voices unnerving when we initially hear it, but maybe you've kinda got used to it.
Having been here since double digit days, I've always enjoyed the random and light-hearted theme to this. And, we're opposite in that she's moved to Britain from Ontario, and I'm here now (having roots/family) from England. This is just like watching my favorite thing having a good time and enjoying things.. And I appreciate the break it affords me from the 'day2day' of life.

Yay! My assumption was in there :) A lot of this I completely resonate. Starbucks (even though I love it) really heightens my anxiety every time (even worse with friends) and I get a lot of second hand embarrassment (some movies I can't wait either). I'm introverted, don't like Marmite, and a lightweight haha. But also congrats on 60K, that's amazing! And it's so well deserved

Ontario sunny? That tells me how cloudy England is. I live in Florida where it really is sunny every day and I usually cannot wait to be back from the places I visit, almost all of which are more cloudy. You are not wrong. The entire world loves and respects Canadians.

Hi Alanna, are you currently back in Ontario Canada or still in Orlando Florida?? The room in this video looks more Floridian...is that even a word??? Well done reaching 60,000 subscribers. I was doing cartwheels when I reached 100. My assumptions about you is that you are able to handle just about any situation and you have a great positive attitude. Doing anything in front of an audience can be absolutely terrifying, I can completely understand your feelings about that. I also understand why you value privacy, I do the same thing. I would also really hate painting my toenails!!! LOL. Incidentally, I think your Canadian accent is great. Your accent is quite different to the BC Canada accent. Where did you get the "Adventures and Naps" name from for your video channel? Incidentally, when eating peas, which are all the same, why do we always choose which one to eat first? Now that is something to ponder about!!! I always add the milk after the cereal. When you do decide to get a delivery from Tim Horton's or anywhere else, could you possibly do a video covering the first unwrapping please? Anyway, wishing you the very best. Robert.
