I have owned every version of the MagVibe.
Generation 1: Pounded like a mad man. Terrific flattening even in stiff. low slump concrete. Short battery life and heavy set-up.
Generation 2: Much improved battery life and way, way lighter than the first generation. All at the cost of vibration, however.
Generation 3: Significantly better vibration than Generation 2 but hot as much as the 1st generation. Tremendous battery life.
Overall impression? Our f-numbers have improved significantly with MagVibe. Where the bullfloat man once had to make three passes to flatten and seal, it is now easily accomplished with just one or two. All while producing way flatter floors.
