Thank you for watching the video! :) Here is the link to the free webinar that I mentioned: start.learn-portuguese.org/10-secrets-registration?+portuguese+verbs&WHYjC82yY%3Fsi
Embora que eu já soubesse quase todos estos verbos, este video ajudou-me como pronunciar-los melhor. Vou ver este video mais algumas vezes e repetir os verbos em voz alta. Acho que isto vai ser muito útil para mim. Muito obrigado!
I have really enjoyed your videos for the past year or so. I finally made it to Porugal and I am enjoying myself very much being here. I have a hard time understanding people speaking Portugese. I know Spanish so I tend to want to pronounce everything like in Spanish and my ear cant quite recognize many words. What Ive noticed is that for example: Estar is pronounced "Star" Sempre is pronounced " Semp" Posso is "Pos". and then when its all put together in rapid speach its hard to hear the words clearly. Are there any rules about which syllables get droped? Probably it will just take time. Thanks again for all your hard work producing these videos,it really helps.
Thank you very much! 😊 I’m glad you’re enjoying my videos. Yes, there are some rules and I’m actually going to post a new video about that topic tomorrow 😊 I’ve also already made some videos about this is the past. Check my channel, there are at least two that are related to this topic 😊 if you can’t find them let me know! Beijinhos, and don’t give up! Time will help you tackle these sounds!
"achar" es interesante, en español es muy diferente ("encontrar"). Bueno, también tenemos el verbo "hallar", pero este no tiene el sentido de "to think" como sí lo tiene "achar" 😮
Thanks Mia. Do you have these verbs listed so I can print them and memorize them? Also, in the list I hope to get, could you indicate which are regular and which a irregular in their conjugation. Obrigado! Liked and subbed!
Hello Mia, your lessons are so well done and clear! I'm trying to learn few words of Portugues waiting to meet my youngest son which lives in Porto. "Muitos beijos pai" he always says me at the phone... :0
Ah that’s so nice! I hope you continue enjoying my content and that you get to surprise your son in Porto with some nice portuguese words 😌. Beijinhos, Mia
Eu já memorizei as todas palavras e os seus conjugações indicativos. Ainda não quero memorizar as subjunctivos deles. 😂 Obrigado pela ter compartilhado as palavras. Já fez me mais confiante que finalmente conquistarei (Subjucntive here isn't it) esta lingua bonita, apesar de ainda não posso conversar ou falar ou perceber bom. 😬
Just noticed you said there are a irregular verbs in it too haha. I'm trying to learn the most common regular verbs at the moment so once I get that then I can then move on to irregular etc
Yes, that’s it! Viver and morar are kind of synonyms but morar is only used when you want to speak about your address mostly, and viver can also mean to live without referring to your address. Like “ele viveu até aos 90 anos” - “he lived till 90”, for example.
Eu sei jogar basebol, futebol e basquetebol. Nenhum deles é nada como os verbos conjugados. Até o xadrez é mais divertido do que a conjugação de verbos.
this is the begining point like learn the verb ter, ser, and estar and then learn the simple conjucations of the verbs ending in ar er and ir then its just easy
I went back and guess you’re right! Sorry about that… But here go four more: Concordar - to agree; Discordar - to disagree; Comemorar - to celebrate; Compreender - to understand. Hope I didn’t repeat any. These are also often used in Portuguese 😊
Thank you for this. I know maybe you were limited by time...but you're going too fast. I wish you'd be slower. As a student, I'd rather watch a 10 minute video that I understand than a 3 minute one that I dont...
I'm sorry, but this doesn't help much. Some of them are very irregular and useless to know just the verbs without their conjugation. So even if you memorize these verbs it will be very difficult to recognize them when reading or hearing because conjugations, and especially pronunciations are very different.
Thank you for watching the video! :) Here is the link to the free webinar that I mentioned: start.learn-portuguese.org/10-secrets-registration?+portuguese+verbs&WHYjC82yY%3Fsi

Ah, não conhecia o verbo “hallar”, mas o verbo “achar”, em Português, pode ter dois significados diferentes - “to meet” e “to think”. 😊
Thanks Mia. Do you have these verbs listed so I can print them and memorize them? Also, in the list I hope to get, could you indicate which are regular and which a irregular in their conjugation. Obrigado! Liked and subbed!
Obrigado
De nada :)
I speak Spanish well enough. I'm starting to learn Italian and Portuguese because they're somewhat close but Portuguese seems much more relatable

So morar is “to live” but morrer is “to die“ ?? That’s tricky! Is there a difference between morar & viver or do they just both mean (to) live?
Yes, that’s it! Viver and morar are kind of synonyms but morar is only used when you want to speak about your address mostly, and viver can also mean to live without referring to your address. Like “ele viveu até aos 90 anos” - “he lived till 90”, for example.

Lose or loose?
Lose. Ela errou a ortografia.
Thank you for the video...but you only gave 46 words...I was writing it down while you were speaking
I went back and guess you’re right! Sorry about that…
But here go four more:
Concordar - to agree;
Discordar - to disagree;
Comemorar - to celebrate;
Compreender - to understand.

E pensar que aprendemos tudo isso na escola, e socialmente perdemos todo esse aprendizado por hábitos ruins 😔

RUclips gives the option to control play speed.
Thank you for the feedback ☺️ have you tried to change the speed in the RUclips video player, as suggested by the other comment here?
Yes, thank you 😊
É melhor falar português sem explicação em inglês por favor, eu não entendo inglês
