- Finally the borders were open and even though it took some organising and Covid tests, we finally made it to one of our favourite family holiday destinations - Tumby Bay South Australia. We have been going to Tumby yearly for the last 6 or 7 years and we all love the place. It's a beautiful quiet town with a awesome family friendly beach and jetty. The weather gods were not our friends this year and it was a bit wet and windy, but the family made the most of it. Toward the end of the trip the weather cleared and we had some stunning sunny days, so on one of these days we packed up the kids and headed down to Memory Cove in the Lincoln NP. Kylie has wanted to add this to one of our trips for ages and she finally talked me into it, I'm happy to say that I'm glad she did. We left Tumby early and headed into Port Lincoln to the Tourist information centre to pick up the key required to gain access to The Memory Cove Wilderness Area, a $50 key deposit and prebooking is required to get there. The road/track in wasn't difficult but it still took quite a while to get there, but it was worth every minute, bump and fly. To say the family enjoyed Memory Cove is an understatement and we are planning our next trip to include an overnight stay or two. There are toilets, but no showers so if you do plan a trip there make sure you take plenty of water.

Thanks mate, I reckon I could work out a 2 or 3 week trip around this area doing a few NP's and some fishing.
Great looking spot, will add it to the list. Any news on the bucket?
Mate definitely add to your list and camp the night if you can.
The bucket was safely returned to Neil with his anchor and he was very happy.
That sand looks pretty soft
That's for sure mate, there was no way I was taking that on that late in the day with no backup....
