Hello, I have a problem. So the eldest daugther of my familly moved to China, thats all OK! But when I want to travel back with the rest of my familly to there 1st home town (Island Paradiso), they move to the base game town. So the verry first start of the town Island Paradiso and not with al my self build housses or my other relationsships like for exampel a schoolfriend or the neigbours with there fresh born, I come in a beginners town with the verry first people who lived there :( How can I fix that? Is there a mod who safes your latest town to then move over there. That schoolfriend our neigbour is stil in the friendschip system, so I keep the bond between them but the games says the're living not living in THAT Island Paradiso. There photo is grey just like sims who for example live in Paris or Egypt. Hopefully someone can help my? Otherwise I think this mod benefits nothing because your home town vanishes, whats the point then? Thank you PS srry if my english is not 100 ;)
Hi! So the relationships and families should stay intact if you move back.. as long as you move back in the order that you moved.. so say that your sim who moved to China decided to move to sunset valley and then decided they wanted to move back to isla paradiso.. you would have to have that sim move back to China first and then move back to isla paradiso instead of moving from sunset valley to isla paradiso! Hopefully that makes sense!
@@Simplicityyyt Thank you for your reply, normally I dit that. So I went with a family of 5 from island Paradiso to China, left one behind and travels back with 4 to island Paradiso. And yess I keep my relationships but the game is saying that al my former friends from 'Island' (where I'm at) are not living in 'island', there photo is grey in the relationship beam. And al my self build housses are gone also like the growth of AL the families in my home town 'island'. They traveled back to the basic starters Island Paradiso and not to the Island where they lived for 2 generations with al my changes I brought to the town. It's a pity cause it's really important I think that al my villages can keep growing instead of starting again :( I was thinking is there not a way to safe my grown town Island Paradiso as a file in the costume made towns, so that I can klick on that to travel back instead of the basic Island Paradiso? Than I only have to remove my double gangers I think, but I don't now if that's possible? Hopefully my story make sense!? Thanks again already :) Greetings...
I'm not sure about overwriting towns.. to my knowledge that isn't possible but it should have went back to the one that you had worked on instead of the basic one.. the only thing i can think of is because you had left the one sim in China that it caused a glitch because I have never left someone with this mod.. if I travel with someone its the one i plan on playing with.. so i'm not sure how to fix it but hopefully someone else might know

So when you visit your sim family that didn't move with your one Sim that lives in another town, does your sims who travels back to say hello comes in the town where your family lives our in a basic beginners town. Can your traveled Sim visit there family back? Thank you for your help, I will search a little more further then or try some different things. Greets from Belgium :)
I don't tend to have them go and visit so i'm not sure, I just know how this works when it comes to moving sims and keeping family trees together but I would think it would still count for them to go and visit their family!

i did exactly what you did but when I travel back to my old hometown its completely reset
When you go back to the old hometown, did you hit move or did you use travel? The travel option shouldn't reset the hometown, but moving there would

That’s so weird.. because mines never reset like that.. did you do the change to hometown, save game and then exit the game completely and reload?
