    I had a rater call me, she said that I kept filing for sleep issues wrong. She asked me a few questions and I ended up with a 70 percent Mental Health for Sleep disturbance. I did have a long history of sleep issues and meds to go along with the claim.

      @@Franklin-j2024 Get a GS employment man. Some of those jobs have night differential, pay time and a half on Sundays and pay double on Federal Holidays. You can retire at 57 years of age if you have 30 years of federal service (adding active duty time if you pay the deposit). With a 100% VA comp, a federal job retirement, TSP, SS and a military retirement (if you did 20 years) you'll be swimming in cash and not killing yourself at an old age.

    Awsome video brother!!! Quick question I am currently in the va disability claims process. And for one of my conditions that I'm claiming the VA told me the reason I did not get a c@p exam for the condition was because there is enough medical evidence in my va medical file to support that condition does that mean It's automatic that I am going to receive some compensation for it?

  • @Srsnai

    Do a higher level review and ask for an informal conference if you're not rated properly. The same thing happened to me with my MH claim.

  • @shojus

    I was actually surprised that my rater bumped me from 30% to 70% and also recommended I fill the paperwork out for TDIU. I ended up doing that and am now T&P and being paid at the 100% rate. They made it VERY easy! I guess I was blessed....

    Ask Rater-X if VA Rater Ethos is “”Approve if u can, deny if u must”?

    • @TheRaterX
      @TheRaterX 3 месяца назад +7

      @dwaynejones1555 You don't need to have @CombatCraig ask me when you can just ask me yourself. And the quick answer is YES, that ethos came down from Former Secretary Allison Hickey. "Grant if you can, only deny if you must!" And honestly, it's easier to grant a benefit from a logistical/paperwork standpoint than it is to deny a claim. There is so must legal mumbo jumbo that needs to be included in a claim when that issue is being denied as opposed to being a grant. That being said, the work of a RVSR is subject to review and an error can be called on that RVSR if the decision is incorrect. So not only do RVSRs have production standards, but they have quality standards to meet as well.

Sleep APNEA is a big one if your snoring waking up out of breath get a sleep study. It will rate you at least 70 also it could save your life. You're not getting oxygen that you need in your blood. Your iron may be too high your gonna be on medication for seizures, and strokes like me .. don't wait it's a very important that you get this done.. my best to you all ...

    • @melisacovey4850
      @melisacovey4850 3 месяца назад

      I highly recommend submitting a Statement in Support of Claim VA FORM 21-4138 for the claim. Be sure to write when the condition/disorder started, how it is service connected, symptoms and how it negatively impacts your work and personal life. Individually fill out and submit that form for every claim, makes a huge difference. 👍🏽

      You aren't aren't talking to a DRO unless you have a Higher Level Review. I think the point of the video was the fact that it's so rare for a RVSR to even reach out to a veteran over the phone that what should you do if one does reach out.

      Think about all of the things your wife does. The term to consider is ADL=Activities for daily living. Google it. Find out what it involves. Oh yeah, whatever your issue is that you require assistance with has to be service connected. I wish you success in your claim.
