Guys, do you remember that MaCele was married in a civil union with Musa - i.e. automatic in community of property. There is no way that Musa would have married any wife legally before changing the marriage contract (he would be guilty of bigamy) nor could he buy with them properties without the bank wanting to see MaCele and for her to sign for the bond etc. If bought in cash at registration of the property, a marriage certificate wld be needed since he was married in a civil marriage - leaving only 1 option buying in the "outside partners name, not his". While I dnt know when their contract was changed to traditional marriage with MaCele, it could not have been immediately after marrying as you are saying here, she was still ku honeymoon stage. Let us be honest there is no family that can collect iproperty yendoda from indoda ephilayo because his partner died. Remember if you have a joint property, both your names are there - how would they dispose it.
My theory based on what we heard and read on news papers. Masaule was monied and came from money. Musa was not married to her emthethweni.

I also believe they thought her death had to do nesithembu sika Musa (jealousy & ukuthakatha). Very clear she didn't get along with Macele and Mayeni also asked to be excused from visiting her grave. 💔 The family ka Masaule were not asked b4 they visited her grave with camera's. They only saw it on TV and were very angry according to Move Magazine. Does that sound like umkhwenyana we family ???
