Lockheed L-188 Electra Takeoff

Air Spray Lockheed L-188 Electra C-FVFH is seen taxiing and taking off from the West Kootenay Regional Airport CYCG in Castlegar, British Columbia. The aircraft was going out to perform a retardant dump on a wildfire in the area. It is great to see these 55 year old water bomber / air tanker turboprop planes still going strong and being put to work!
