I just don't understand how you can draw so perfectly without doing something like the grid method? How do you get such accurate proportions by just free handing?? Is it just load of experience? It's amazing!

@kwiky I draw basically the same way, no grid method and no unnecessary random circles to "help you know where to put the eyes, nose and mouth" because IN MY OPINION that's just ridiculous. I just dive straight in when drawing, but of course I take my time and also try to perfect everything. I've been drawing for 9 years and my drawings somehow aren't even half as realistic as this person and idk why but wtv
He maps out the proportions using a grid. You can't see the lines because of the light.

What color pencil brand do you use? And what brand do you recommend for professionals or rlly good artists? (I am not a professional or rlly good artist I just want to know)
He uses Prismacolor and Luminance. They are wax based pencils which are soft and blend well, and there are also Polychromos which are oil based, hard and great for detailed drawing.

Why do you use an eraser at 3:00? And how do you get pencils to colour smooth and not grainy, do you have to press hard?
