You guys rock
Points for all finishers seems like the logical endgame.
It makes sense from an excitement point of view (I mean, who cares if an RB overtakes a Sauber for P13 with 2 laps to go right now, really?), but I think the most compelling reason is that in a low-randomness environment, any swing (like Alpine's) has massive repercussions. The current system means that regular points-scoring teams have every weekend's performance matter, as any opportunity lost is massive, whereas the lower midfield and backfield's weekends only matter, competitively, when they dramatically exceed expectations.
Put another way, you're not ranking them on their week-in, week-out performance, against their opponents, but only on their outliers. That is, in itself, a poor way to rank them against each other, but it matters even more if financial gains are attached to it. I'm happy for Alpine to have had their Sao Paulo haul, I truly am, and they deserve to rise in the rankings due to it, but it discredits teams that show up week in, week out. It's just a poor measurement of a team's year, is all, when most of their weekends don't end up being competitively significant, where a hard-fought P12 is worth the same as a DNF or a lowly P19.
Hamilton when he was winning: My team never makes mistakes. We race as one
Hamilton when he’s losing: They keep getting it wrong. I’m being sabotaged
When did Hamilton say he's being sabotaged?
Like every aging driver EVER in F1.
@@AgentGreyFox he’s implied at times throughout the season.
I wonder if i watch the same television as others. In his Qatar interview he clearly was smirking and seemed rather sarcastic. He didnt appear to be genuine. How is it that ppl are so hooked on what he said and believes that he was serious?! He clearly struggles with the W15 in quali but the races this year have shown that he's still quick so I'm so lost at this being milked constantly.
I don't see ppl asking if Alonso has lost it and he's been having a ragged ass year, granted he's out performing Stroll, but what top tier racer wouldn't
Lewis will disappoint next year.
...you......never........know...........what..............will............happen...
But people act as if they dont think. Hamilton is a 7/8 time champion, why would he want to fight for any position except for P1 and a championship. Its obvious with those qualifications, he only races to win and if the car cant, he will not be motivated at all.
Because it’s his job??
Any permanent race director must NOT be British, Australian or Italian. I’d like to see a Scandinavian or Canadian or Japanese race director. Too much of the same old same old.
Just like this podcast, Brits will always defend Hamilton and make excuses for him but in my opinion, his recent behavior and statements are shameful coming from a highly paid professional athlete. Also, be prepared for him to not perform any better in a Ferrari.
Cry
Yeah Max’s comments are far more mature. 🙄 What a role model.
Bro loves shouting British Bias without even listening to the podcast and their takes 👍
8 time world champ + goat Hamilton 🎉🎉🎉
@@Milkydrummer To say that Verstappen's comments are worse does not absolve the shamefulness of Hamilton's comments.
I'll say this: Unlike Hamilton, Verstappen has never said he wants to give up on a race and retire the car.
Doohan hasnt raced since last year. Wouldn't be very fair to judge from 1 outing
