😧 what amazing footage!! That’s incredible! NVR and Chumbo are both on a different level! They seem so comfortable being chased down by a 80’ monster! Crazy! That spit was amazing! Thanks Tim!!!
Yeah, again just wow! Definitely the tip of the spear in surfing for me. The guys that chase it and want it are no doubt special. Thanks to all the players.
Tim my mouth is salivating. I was there last year and can't wait to get back. Tim your footage from the water reminds me of the great surf photographer pioneers of the 70s like Jeff Divine, Dan Merkel, and Aaron Chang that had the ability to capture that raw beauty of gnarly surf. Watching you capture that fear of taking the drop in its purest form is epic. Look forward to seeing more footage Brah!!
Fantastic shots. Beautiful to see Justine, Lucas, stephen and all the others enjoying such a magical 2 days. Not sure if you'll do it one day, but I'm probably same age as you and would love to see it in a VR headset in stereo scopic before I leave this world. These type of natural events are the most magical thing on this plannet I feel. I grew up in the mountains but I have a profound respect for the world of surfing.
I get nervous on a 4 foot wave on my body board, this is insane and defies belief! Outstanding photography but how on earth do these guys learn to do this !!! They are athletes and at the pinnacle of their game, thanks for sharing this to us lesser mortals 👌I will have to take a trip down to see this one day, good luck and enjoy
Lovely footage. Does anyone know if next week, between 03 and 07dec Nazare week have any big waves to photograph? We arrive in Cascais on 03dec at 5pm, so I'm thinking of driving up to Nazare on Sunday 04dec. What do you think? Good day to go there or better on Mon or Tues?
grew up surfing in the '60's, first board was a 10' Hobie log with a license plate sticker required by Newport beach ordinance. No one back then had any idea waves like this would be ridden. love your work..

Excellent filming on all your videos. Much respect to all the surfers
Wow, just wow! And thank you!
Awesome Tim! Some amazing bombs. Shooting from the water gives a much better appreciation of the size of some of those peaks.
Thank you for keeping me close to the water

Great work!
Amazing shots, but the last one is mesmerising. I was not expecting it. Congratulations!

Amazing
You never disappoint Tim! Next level stuff with you on the ski! Thanks for the consistently best surfing footage! 🙏🏻🤩
Up close and personal on from the skis is a epic way to film these incredible waves and riders.
scary big waves! but I'm glad you aren't trying to tell us about 100 foot waves!
What’s the music you used in the video? It’s perfect!
Absolutely chilling and thrilling! Must have been goosebumps and hair raising you!

Well done to Adelaide’s own Tim Bonython
Great footage
Chumbo is a legend.
Some pretty dark land angle shots - but the music was killer!
The last wave is so heavy 🥵
For Sure stoked safety....
Reminiscent of skiing down Everest with an unleashed avalanche chasing right behind....🙄
Water Cathedrals!
Big surfers make it look easy, but sure it isn't!
👏👏
wow jealousy setting in ...

I can't believe a wave of this size in Europe went unnoticed by the surfing world for so long. It's crazy.
I remember those license stickers
